    • In a display apparatus and a method of assembling the display apparatus according to one or more embodiments, a printed circuit board is electrically connected to a lower end of a display panel and disposed in a rear surface of a container. A flexible printed circuit board is contained in the container, and light sources are mounted on the flexible printed circuit board. A connection film electrically connecting the printed circuit board and the flexible printed circuit board is disposed on a bottom portion of the container, and one end of the connection film passes through a fixing hole formed through the bottom portion. The one end of the connection film is electrically connected to the printed circuit board disposed in the rear surface. Thus, movement of the connection film may be limited by an inner wall defining the fixing hole.

    • A liquid crystal display device and a method of assembling the same are provided to prevent coming-off of a wire and damage to the wire by improving a structure of a main support and a guide panel in an edge type liquid crystal display device and a method of assembling the same. The liquid crystal display device comprises: a main support having a stepped coverage face formed therein and an L-shaped first wire fixation part provided at one side; a backlight unit and a liquid crystal display panel stacked on the stepped coverage face of the main support; a guide panel disposed between the backlight unit and the liquid crystal display panel to support the liquid crystal display panel, and provided with a reversed L-shaped second wire fixation part at one side and secured to a side of the main support; a lamp which is supplied with power from an external power source to irradiate light; a wire for supplying power to the lamp, and fixed by the first wire fixation part and the second wire fixation part; and a top case for covering and fixing the upper edge of the liquid crystal display panel and the guide panel.

    • An exemplary liquid crystal display module includes a liquid crystal display panel, a backlight unit, a bottom frame, and an upper frame. The backlight unit is positioned on the bottom frame. The upper frame is assembled on the bottom frame to fix the backlight unit in position. The upper frame includes four sidewalls, a top flange extending from the four sidewalls towards a center of the upper frame, and a plurality of supporting members defined at the inner surfaces of the sidewalls adjacent to the top flange. At least one of the supporting members is resilient. The liquid crystal display panel is held in place between the top flange and the supporting members. A method for assembling the liquid crystal display module is also provided.
