摘要： A sealing sheet for use to close in a reversible manner a plurality of individual pill containers formed in a plastic sheet. The sealing sheet has a top layer, an adhesive layer and a peelable backing. The top layer and the adhesive layer are made of paper. The adhesive layer has a plurality of spaced apart holes punched therein, which are surrounded by adhesive layer bands having an upper surface that is covered with an upper layer of pressure sensitive adhesive glue and is attached by this glue to the top layer, and a lower surface covered with a lower layer of removable re-positionable pressure sensitive adhesive glue. The peelable backing also has a plurality of spaced apart holes that are positioned, shaped and sized to be in exact superimposition below the holes of the pressure sensitive adhesive glue layer. The holes of the backing are surrounded by backing bands having an upper surface detachably fixed to the lower surface of the adhesive layer bands by means of the lower layer of removable re-positionable pressure sensitive adhesive glue. In use, the backing bands can be peeled off from the pressure sensitive adhesive glue layer bands to allow fixation of the sealing sheet onto the container-defining sheet. Tearing lines are punched into both the top layer and the pressure sensitive adhesive glue layer bands in such a manner and position as to allow the top layer and pressure sensitive adhesive glue layer to be split into a number of cover pieces equal to the number of holes made in the pressure sensitive adhesive glue layer.

摘要： The invention is a blister package for containing frangible dosage forms while protecting the dosage forms from damage during transport and opening of the package.A blister sheet defines one or more recesses in which frangible dosage forms are disposed and a peelable sheet of lidding material overlies the recesses to cover the dosage forms therein. The dosage forms engage each recess to prevent shifting of the dosage form during transport. Indicia on the blister package directs the user with regard to the procedure for opening the package without damaging the dosage forms. Unsealed areas in the package, which provide a portion of lidding material which the user can grab to peel open the package, are provided with dimples which hide the grabable portion of lidding material from children.

摘要： An easy-opening blister card package is disclosed having a rigid container sheet with cavities formed in it and a closure sheet to seal the cavities. Between the cavities are finger tabs that are accessible by detaching individual sections of the blister card package. Once a section is detached, a finger tab is exposed which is pulled to form a larger pull tab. The pull tab is sufficiently large to allow the user to comfortably grasp it to peel apart the sealed layers. An alternate embodiment of the invention discloses a child-resistant blister card package wherein an additional seal must be broken to form the pull tab.

摘要： To improve the efficacy and tolerability of customary topical applications for transdermal systemically acting pharmaceutical substances, single dosage topical pharmaceutical forms which are therapeutically exactly ready-to-administer are formed from suitable semi-solid pharmaceutical forms. The topical single doses are specified pharmaceutically with respect to their dose, their topical spreading behaviour and their permeation properties. Several of the topically ready-to-administer single doses are in this case accommodated in a common commercial packaging container. Complex treatments can be developed by means of different individual dosages or alternatively active compound combinations. As pharmacological active compounds, steroids, peptides, various analgesics, local anaesthetics and non-steroidal antirheumatics are employed in particular. The single dosage topical pharmaceutical form is a safe, easy to administer and inexpensive application form which makes possible a more exact topical therapy for systemic administrations than could previously be achieved using conventional topical administration forms.

The package has a first, peelable hermetic seal located next to an access edge of the product cavity and a second, recloseable seal positioned directly above the peelable seal. Vertical extensions of the package sidewalls are sealed together at their tops to form a third package seal which has a tamper-evident tear strip. One or more openings in the vertical package extensions allow the package to be supported on a display hook.

摘要： A method of forming a recloseable package using special profile strips, the strips themselves and a resulting package are disclosed. The profile strips have a flange element and a recloseable means element, and two mated profile strips are provided with a heat barrier means.The method comprises the steps of providing mated top and bottom profile strips, providing top and bottom package films on opposite sides of the mated strips and applying heat and pressure to the films adjacent the flanges sufficient to simultaneously form heat seals respectively between the top film and the top profile strip flange and between the bottom film and bottom profile strip flange. The heat barrier means may comprise a thickened flange element, buffer strip or a coextrusion of high temperature resin on the inside layer of the flange element. The heat barrier means prevents the flanges from fusing together during the formation of flange-film seals.
