摘要： Various methods and devices are provided to address the need for improved backhaul monitoring capabilities. In a first method, a network node determines whether an operational setting indicates that a traffic monitoring mode is enabled. When the traffic monitoring mode is enabled, the network node sends GTP-U packets, each GTP-U packet including a GTP-U header with an S bit set to 1 and a corresponding sequence number in a sequence number field. In a second method, a network node receives such GTP-U packets and utilizes the corresponding sequence numbers of the received GTP-U packets to provide performance measurement counts of missed GTP-U packets.

摘要： A leaky repeater access node (LRAN) includes a first directional antenna and a second directional antenna to transmit and receive signals in at least one first frequency band, and a third antenna to transmit and receive signals in a second frequency band. The LRAN also includes first analog components to split a first signal received by the first directional antenna into a first portion and a second portion. The first analog components amplify the first portion and provide the amplified first portion to the second directional antenna. The network element captures at least one SIP packet of the plurality of SIP packets and extracts information from the at least one captured SIP packet to determine a service type of the at least one stream. The network element assigns a priority level to the at least one stream based on the service type and according to a policy that defines priority levels for streams according to a plurality of service types.
