摘要： A solution enabling a search engine to find content that is generated by executing client script. First, it is determined by a web application or plug-in whether a client that requests an initial web page comprising client script is a search engine or not. In the case that the client is a search engine, the client script is executed to generate corresponding content. Then, a new web page comprising the content is constructed, and a Uniform Resource Locator (URL) that points to the new web page is generated. Finally, the new web page is provided to the search engine together with the Uniform Resource Locator. In this manner, the search engine can get the content without executing the client script.

摘要： The present invention is directed to a method and apparatus for establishing documents relationship based on user's operation upon search result. When a user uses search engine to search for documents with a query in repository, the search result may be a list of ranked documents, and these documents may contain a lot of relationship in term of the specific query. If the user clicks some search result further, and if the click and open operation meet certain conditions, for example exceed a period of time, the clicked document could be deemed as related to the search query. Furthermore it could be inferred that there is a strong relationship between different documents clicked by the user. The present invention records the relationship between documents and presents it to the user when necessary.

摘要： An implementation of a technology, described herein, for relevance-feedback, content-based facilitating accurate and efficient image retrieval minimizes the number of iterations for user feedback regarding the semantic relevance of exemplary images while maximizing the resulting relevance of each iteration. One technique for accomplishing this is to use a Bayesian classifier to treat positive and negative feedback examples with different strategies. In addition, query refinement techniques are applied to pinpoint the users' intended queries with respect to their feedbacks. These techniques further enhance the accuracy and usability of relevance feedback. This abstract itself is not intended to limit the scope of this patent. The scope of the present invention is pointed out in the appending claims.
