    • An internal combustion engine stop device comprises a power generation winding for generating electric power corresponding to the rotation of an engine and charging a capacitor for an ignition winding; and a stop circuit for bringing the output of the power generation winding to a short-circuit state based on the actuation of the stop switch, wherein the stop switch is of a self-reset type, and wherein the stop circuit is constituted by a self-holding circuit for keeping the short-circuit state based on the actuation of the stop switch, and a delay circuit for actuating the self-holding circuit when a switched state of the stop switch is kept for a predetermined time.

    • An ignition system for an internal combustion engine of the invention, which is adapted to periodically charge a capacitor by using as a power source a magnetogenerator in association with the internal combustion engine and ignite the internal combustion engine by discharge from the capacitor and which is provided with a capacitor charged by a first half cycle in an output signal from a signal coil and a zero-cross detector for detecting the zero-cross point where the output signal of the signal coil transfers from a first half cycle to a latter half cycle, so that, among continuous one cycle waveforms of the signal coil, voltage at the first half cycle is charged at the capacitor, the capacitor discharging at the timing detected by the zero-cross detector and the discharge voltage is used as an ignition timing signal, whereby the ignition timing can be kept about constant without creating any malfunction caused by a noise signal and also regardless of variation in the number of revolution of the internal combustion engine.

    • A semiconductor light-emitting device according to the present invention is made by forming an undoped In.sub.1-X Ga.sub.X As.sub.1-Y P.sub.Y active layer on a n-InP clad layer, a p-In.sub.1-X Ga.sub.X As.sub.1-Y P.sub.Y active layer on said undoped active layer, and a p-n junction position in the interface between said n-InP layer and said undoped In.sub.1-X Ga.sub.X As.sub.1-Y P.sub.Y active layer or in the neighborhood thereof. By this structure, the heretofore inevitable problem of remote junction can be solved and the half value width of the light-emitting spectrum can be reduced. Therefore, the semiconductor light-emitting device according to the present invention provides higher response frequency and larger light-emitting output than the conventional semiconductor light-emitting device.

    • In a recording and reproducing device of the type using depressible push buttons to activate different modes of operation there is provided a reproduction actuator lever, a lock lever to keep the actuator lever in its operative position, a head support plate movable in response to movement of the actuator lever, a recording actuator lever, and a swingable lever to lock the recording actuator lever. The swingable lever is normally forced to a position engaged with the recording actuator lever and a swingable member is provided to move the reproduction actuator lever during operation of the recording actuator lever so that during the recording mode the recording lever is held in its operative position by engagement of the swingable lever with the reproduction actuator lever which is locked by the lock lever. During the reproducing mode, the swingable member is liberated so that no force is applied to the recording actuator lever even though the reproduction actuator lever is operated whereby the recording mode can be initiated by a single operation of the recording actuator lever.
