摘要： Concepts and technologies are disclosed herein for suspending voice guidance during route navigation. A processor that executes a navigation system interface application can detect a deviation from a route between an origin and a destination. The processor can obtain contextual data including a geographic location and a vector. The processor can set a first value of a point-of-interest parameter that indicates whether the geographic location and the vector imply a visit to an expected stop, a second value of a road-type parameter that indicates a type of a current road segment associated with the geographic location, and a third value of a route-distance parameter based on a distance between the geographic location and a nearest point along the route. The processor can determine if voice guidance should be suspended based on the first value, the second value, and the third value.

摘要： Determining levels of geographic redundancy among radios of a wireless radio network is disclosed. The level of geographic redundancy for a radio can affect the determination of location information for a user equipment (UE) on the wireless radio network. The disclosed subject matter can be employed in conjunction with timed fingerprint location (TFL) technologies to facilitate selection of radios employed in determining time values for TFL location determination. Levels of geographic redundancy can be employed to rank or order radios of a wireless radio network so as to reduce the likelihood of using geographically redundant radios in location determination. Further, rules can be selected to adjust threshold values and equations employed in determining the levels of geographic redundancy. Moreover, rules can be selected to apply boundary conditions to reduce the number of determinations formed for a set of radios of the wireless radio network.

Destination data is received indicating a destination. User selectable route planning weights are received, corresponding to route planning criteria including route time and at least one mobile network performance criterion. A route from the current location to the destination is selected by: evaluating candidate routes according to each of the route planning criteria to generate individual route planning criteria scores for each of the candidate routes; scoring each of the candidate routes according a total candidate score generated by applying the user selectable route planning weights to corresponding ones of the route planning criteria scores; and selecting the route by determining one of the candidate routes with a favorable total candidate score.

摘要： A method is disclosed for blocking a cloned mobile device by a processor of a network. The processor receives a first registration from a first mobile device at a first location. The first registration includes a device identifier and a phone number. The processor then confirms that a second registration from a second mobile device at a second location includes the device identifier and the phone number and calculates a first fraud score for the first mobile device and a second fraud score for the second mobile device. The processor then determines that the second mobile device is the cloned mobile device, when the second fraud score exceeds the first score, and blocks the cloned mobile device from registering on the network.

摘要： A method for determining the location of a mobile device that has placed an emergency call includes determining that an emergency call has been made by a mobile device having a wireless radio and receiving, from the mobile device, an identifier of a first device detected by the wireless radio. If the first device is not fixed, the method includes sending a first location request to the first device to determine a first location of the first device. The method also includes determining a location of the mobile device based upon the first location and providing the mobile device location to a recipient of the emergency call.

An illustrative method includes receiving, at a mobile device, a list of preferred combinations of location area codes (“LACs”), cell identifiers (“CIDs”), and times that data access by the mobile device is to be incentivized, determining a current LAC associated with a location area within which the mobile device is currently located, determining a current CID associated with a base transceiver station to which the mobile device is currently connected, determining a current time, and determining if the current LAC, the current cell ID, and the current time are included as a preferred combination in the list. The method also includes providing an indication that data access by the mobile device is incentivized if the current LAC, the current cell ID, and the current time are included in the list as a preferred combination.
