摘要： A side seal assembly for a shrink wrap packaging system is located downstream in the feed direction from a wrapping station to join first and second plies together and enclose each of the products in individually wrapped packages. The side seal assembly includes a heated side seal mechanism to form the side seal weld and separate the selvage film. The assembly includes an indexing mechanism to index the side seal mechanism and expose a clean surface to the film without removal or extensive servicing of the assembly and the heretofore requisite downtime for the system. The sealing and cutting functions are combined into a single, stationary component thereby reducing the number of movable parts. Moreover, indexing the side seal mechanism operatively exposes a clean, free of resin build-up, peripheral edge of the side seal mechanism to the plies, without the need to stop production for extended periods of time while consistently producing a thin side seal weld on the package.

摘要： A packaging group that packages products at a high speed when the products are fed in succession in accordance with a predefined and variable pitch is provided. The packaging group includes a conveyor of the products, at least one roll of at least one plastic film, a feed mechanism that feeds the at least one plastic film from the at least one roll respectively atop and underneath the products substantially upon exiting the conveyor, a counter-welder belt downstream of the conveyor which receives the products covered on their upper and lower parts with the at least one plastic film, and a transverse welder device at the counter-welder belt. The transverse welder device includes a rotating star-like structure equipped with at least three spokes provided at their tips with welder mechanisms cooperating one after the other in succession with the counter-welder belt, in order to weld together portions of the at least one plastic film between the products advancing on the counter-welder belt.

摘要： A device for feeding a converting unit with a web substrate, the converting unit converting the substrate when stopped. The device includes a main drive roller rotating on a main shaft a main electric drive motor (14) rotating (T) the main roller (12), a satellite roller oscillating about the main roller (12), between upstream and downstream on the path of a substrate. Two lateral levers secured to the main shaft hold the satellite roller and are mounted on the main shaft. The substrate is maintained between the main and satellite rollers to change cyclically between a constant speed to a zero speed at the exit side of the satellite roller. At least one secondary electric drive motor oscillates the main shaft, the two lateral levers and the satellite roller.

摘要： A clamp may have an outer base member with an inner ramp surface and an inner clamping member with an outer ramp surface abutting the inner ramp surface of the base member. The inner clamping member may have an inner clamping surface for engaging an element to be clamped, such as a film. The inner and outer ramp surfaces are configured such that, with said clamping member backstopped, compression of the base member toward the film forces the clamping member to slide along said inner ramp surface of the base member. The result is that the film is tugged by the clamp. This tugging force may be used to stretch the film.

The operator block (94), accommodated inside the tube (34) with the emitters (96) aligned and juxtaposed with the edges (18), directs the fluid against internal faces (97) of the tube (34) directly at the layer of glue on the web (17) which is simultaneously folded around the operator block (94) itself.

摘要： In a device for the formation of the longitudinal seam of a tubular foil, a flexible foil is placed around a formatting tube by means of a formatting shoulder. The device has a transporting device for moving of the foil and the formed tubular foil. The invention provides two opposingly rotating sealing bands which are pressed against one another clamping the two longitudinal edges o the foil for welding of the longitudinal seam of the tubular foil. One of the sealing bands can be heated by means of a heating device. Both sealing bands can be heated and the device designed as a tubular bagging machine. The invention has the advantage that the deflection of the longitudinal seam from its true path is avoided.

The heat sealing assembly includes a heated blade and a plurality of belt conveyors for conveying the film with a desired tracking through the assembly. An adjustable angle blade and slotted film support ramp result in improved sealing of heavier gauge films by increasing the dwell time of the film on the heated blade.
