Some embodiments include multiple robotic assemblies, each having its own hand assembly, which are electrically and mechanically integrated for concurrent use in a single storage library environment for increased throughput. Other embodiments include an active vertical pass-through assembly that operates to ferry cartridges from one storage library environment to another, vertically adjacent storage library environment. Some such embodiments use existing robotic mechanisms of the libraries to exploit a shared slot through which vertical pass-through functionality can be realized. Other embodiments include an active horizontal pass-through assembly that operates to ferry cartridges from one storage library environment to another, horizontally adjacent storage library environment. Some such embodiments include a separate robotic mechanism that couples with each library and actively passes a cartridge among them and is adjustable to varying spans between the libraries.

摘要： A storage and handling rack is disclosed for multiple excavator buckets, adapted to form a stable, single or multi-tiered structure for securing buckets. The stored buckets can be easily accessed by a forklift or excavator for adding or removing buckets from the rack. The rack secures the buckets in parallel sequence on load bearing shelves. The rack includes one or more tiers for retaining the buckets at different elevations. In this manner, variously sized and dimensioned buckets, which may have different functions, can be organized into designated tiers and sections of the rack. The rack is fabricated from multiple members that join together to support a plurality of buckets and minimize lateral movement, tensile forces, compressive forces, and instability for the rack.

摘要： A shelving base bracket is an apparatus that is used to support and transport shelving units. The apparatus includes a crossbar which is used as a structural link between a first L-shaped brace and a second L-shaped brace. The first L-shaped brace and the second L-shaped brace act as legs which support the weight of shelves mounted onto the shelving base bracket. The first L-shaped brace and the second L-shaped brace are both made of a proximal panel and a distal panel. The proximal panel and the distal panel meet at an angle allowing the shelving base bracket to be free-standing. The apparatus also includes a first support-receiving socket and a second support-receiving socket, which connect to the first L-shaped brace and the second L-shaped brace, respectively. The first support-receiving socket and the second support-receiving socket allow for vertical shelving supports to be mounted onto the shelving base bracket.
