摘要： Disclosed is a resealable bag having a gusseted structure with a flared double-flapped upper panel wherein a handle and hang-up notch is incorporated therein. A one-way release valve is disposed on the bag to allow the ejection of air from the bag interior when the bag is exteriorly compressed. The flared upper panels can be folded in a downward position when loading foodstuffs. The bag structure comprises a back panel, a front panel, a floor panel, and a double-flapped upper panel forming the handle. The exterior of the bag further provides a writing surface affixed thereto. The bag structure can be sealed via an interlocking closure means along its open upper. Finally, the bag material is one that is suitable for use in a freezer or cooking environment, wherein the bag can be taken from cold storage and heated without material degradation or food contamination.

A reclosable structure can reversibly close and open the interior of the packaging. The handle can comprise a cut extending through the packaging. An additional seal area in the packaging can provide support so that a punch and die assembly can punch or cut the handle in the additional seal area. Additionally or alternatively, a laser device, a blade, a knife, or another cutting tool can form the handle in the additional seal area, The additional sealed area can provide stiffness for carrying the packaging and also prevent access into the packaging where the handle is made. The additional seal area can be positioned below the top seal of the packaging so that less material is used for the handle.

The container has a front and rear face and gussets that extend inwardly toward the longitudinal axis of the body. A spout is heat sealed into the front face adjacent the top. Handles are sealed top and bottom. Heat seals on the outer folds of the gussets extend from top to bottom with the heat seals extending further inwardly at the top portion than at the bottom portion. The heat seals are shaped to enable seal creep. Tye seals formed at the top sides of the container adjacent the spout seal the front face and rear face together with a portion of the gusset therebetween.

摘要： The embodied invention is a thin plastic garbage bag that is designed to be carried by three handles. Two handles are formed at the top edge, on opposite sides. A third handle is attached to the bottom of the bag, on the inside layer. For carrying groceries, the bottom handle is pulled upwardly to match the top two handles allowing the bag to become a three handled grocery bag. The bag is then supported in the middle and two sides, allowing for increased weight support. When the groceries are emptied, the bag is reused as a standard garbage bag by putting it into a garbage pail and dropping the lower edge all the way down. The bottom handle is no longer used. The bag is affordably made to any size garbage container.

A seal that passes through both the reinforcing material and the bag material retains the reinforcing material within the bag header. A bag handle may then be punched into the header through the bag material and the reinforcing material.
