摘要： A vehicle safety exit apparatus for use in a vehicle having a main battery, an ignition switch and a plurality of electric window and door lock operators is provided. The vehicle safety exit apparatus includes an auxiliary battery operable for delivering power to the vehicle's electrically operated window and door lock operators in emergency situations. The apparatus also includes a control assembly coupled between the auxiliary battery and the window and door lock operators for controlling the delivery of power therebetween. The control assembly automatically opens the vehicle's windows and door locks when the vehicle's main battery is destroyed or disconnected from the vehicle's electrical system during a collision.

摘要： A door on a vehicle is provided with a packing assembly including at least one inflatable member which can be pressurized by a medium such as compressed air from a pressure source so that a completely satisfactory seal is attained. The system includes a control apparatus which responds to a speed sensor to act on a pressure sensor which controls a multi-way valve to supply pressure medium above a determined speed but below a determined pressure. When the pressurization exceeds a predetermined pressure level, the supply of medium under pressure is terminated and the pressurized member is maintained pressurized by a check valve. When used in vehicles, the structure provides a good seal around an openable closure but permits easy opening after depressurization.
