摘要： A pooper scooper for disposing of solid wastes from a pet animal, comprises a relatively short body having a hollow portion provided in its interior and extending along a bottom portion thereof, the hollow portion having an opening at one end thereof, a linear slit extending along the bottom portion of the body, and a housing portion for carrying vertical stacked cartridges therein, the housing portion being provided in the interior of the body, situated on the hollow portion and communicating with the hollow portion, each of the cartridges including a pair of casing members hingedly connected at one ends thereof to each other and a sack supported and contained between the casing members in a manner to be folded up, a pair of receiving members movably inserted in the hollow portion for receiving a lowermost one of the cartridges, a pusher movably inserted within the hollow portion for pushing out of the opening of the hollow portion the lowermost cartridge received by the receiving members, the receiving members pivotally connected at one ends thereof to the pusher, between which receiving members a spring is stretched, to thereby alway urge the receiving members to be opened away from each other, cooperating members on the receiving members and the casing members to be separately held on the receiving members when each of the cartridges is received by the receiving members, and a button arranged on an outer surface of the bottom portion of the body and supported through the slit of the body to the pusher.

摘要： An urine collection device includes a disposable collection bag removably mounted on a framework of flexible straps. The collection bag has a front portion and a back portion, the back portion extending upwardly beyond the front portion to form a back flap. The front and back portions are sealed along the bottom and sides so as to form a container, and further include a coacting continuous fastener along the open top portion of the front portion to selectively seal the container. The bag has a snap fastener in each of the four corners which may be selectively connected to cooperable snaps on the strap framework. The strap framework has a pair of horizontally oriented straps with clamps at each end, the clamps being connectable to a horse blanket draped over a horse. Each horizontal strap has a slide buckle so as to allow for the adjustment and length of the strap for different size horses.

The device includes an outer garment (14) which has a waist aperture (16) for fitting around the body of a small animal (12), a pair of leg apertures (18 and 20) for fitting around the legs of the animal, and a tail aperture (22). The waist aperture (16) and the leg apertures (18 and 20) include a resilient material or band (28 and 30) for assuring that the apertures fit snugly around the animal's body and legs respectively. The tail aperture (22) is particularly located and of such a size that the anal opening of the animal is not covered. The outer garment (14) further includes a first portion (32) of an attaching means such as a snap or "Velcro" fastener at a first location which is adjacent the tail aperture (22) and in between the leg apertures (18 and 20). Also included is another first portion (34) of an attaching means located adjacent the waist aperture (16). A disposable pad (36) is fit within the outer garment (14) as an absorbent layer (38) and a liquid impervious layer (40). A second portion (54) of an attaching means which cooperates with either of the first portions (32 or 34) on the garment (14) is used to hold the disposable pad in appropriate locations within the outer garment (14).

摘要： A housing large enough to accommodate a cat has a rounded top and a removable litter tray for a bottom, with the litter tray being clamped to the housing with a plastic sheet over it to receive the litter. A removable drawer-like container having a screen bottom is mounted in the upper portion of said housing. The support for the removable container closes the space between the housing and the removable container on one side but leaves it open on the other side, so that, when the housing is rotated through 360 degrees about a longitudinal axis, the litter flows along the side wall of the housing and into said container. The particulate litter then drops through the screen bottom of said container, and the fecal matter and any agglomerated litter may be disposed of by removing the container with the screen bottom, and dumping the fecal matter into the garbage. The remaining litter drops down to the litter tray at the base of the housing and may be re-used for a period of time. The housing may include a door to permit access by the cat, handles at the top and sides to facilitate lifting and rotating the housing or rolling it over, a filter for purifying air, and a fan for circulating air through the filter.
