摘要： A portable carrying apparatus for holding and carrying a compact disc (CD) player and a plurality of different compact discs and including a top lid portion, a middle CD holding portion and a bottom CD player holding portion. All of the portions of the portable carrying apparatus are hingeably connected together so that they can be independently moved away from each other. The top lid portion is held in place against the CD holding portion of the portable apparatus through attachment means. With the top lid portion moved upwardly and away, the CD holding portion which holds a plurality of compact discs is exposed so that the user can take one or more of the compact discs and remove it from the CD holding portion. Thereafter, the CD holding portion itself can be moved away from the bottom CD player holding portion of the portable carrying apparatus. The CD holding portion is held in place by attachment fasteners on the back of the CD holding portion and the bottom CD player holding portion of the portable carrying apparatus. With the CD holding portion moved away and locked in place against the lid portion by attachment fasteners, the compact disc player itself is opened and the user can place the compact disc into the compact disc player and then push the selected buttons to start, stop, rewind, etc. The buttons themselves extend out from a distal end of the portable carrying apparatus. This further serves to retain the compact disc player within the portable carrying apparatus.

摘要： Handbag with a magnetic flap closure arrangement both closes and latches the top of the handbag. The handbag has arcuate flexible side walls that expand when the front and rear walls of the bag are spread apart to an open position for the bag. The side walls cooperate with the flap arrangement to form a smaller opening that is closed by the flap arrangement when the front and rear walls are moved toward each other into a closed position. The two flaps of the flap arrangement are connected to the front and rear walls respectively, and extend toward each other when the handbag is in the open position. Both are flexible so that they can be pushed downwardly or upwardly to expand the bag opening and allow items to be inserted, removed or seen more easily. In their unflexed, rest positions one flap is lower than the other so that when the front and rear walls are moved toward each other into the closed position, the flaps overlap. A magnet in one of the flaps then attracts a magnetically attractable plate in the other flap to hold the flaps in a selected overlapping position to latch the opening.

摘要： The present invention includes a convertible saddle briefcase capable of use, at the option of the user, as either a saddle-type support bag upon a wheeled vehicle having one or more support members, and a briefcase.
