    • In a structure of interconnection fitting of division protectors fittingly interconnected to form a harness protector, the division protectors have interconnection fitting portions at their end portions. Retaining projections are formed at one of the interconnection fitting portions which are to be fittingly interconnected, and elastic retaining arms are formed at the other interconnection fitting portion. The elastic retaining arm is so formed as to produce an urging force outwardly in a widthwise direction which is generally perpendicular to a fitting/disconnecting direction and also to a longitudinal direction. Elastic deformation limitation walls for limiting elastic deformation of the elastic retaining arm are formed near respectively to the retaining projection and the elastic retaining arm so as to abut against each other upon movement in a predetermined amount in the widthwise direction.

    • A press-fit assembling device is provided to assemble enclosures including a chassis and a housing. The press-fit assembling device includes a base and a driver. The base includes a platform defined with a locating channel to secure the chassis located thereon. The driver is pivotally connected to one end of the base and is formed with a press plate. The press plate moves down under the control of the driver to press fit the housing and the chassis located on the platform. A plurality of stop blocks is arranged on the platform, and is used to prevent damage to the enclosure. The driver is also formed with a linkage set. When the press plate is lifted up, an aft part of the linkage set abuts against a cross rod and keeps the press plate from dropping down while the operator positions the chassis and housing for press-fitting.

    • An automotive control module includes a plastic housing with a snap-fit metal cover. A printed circuit board is positioned within a cavity formed in the housing, and is attached to the housing with a plurality of fasteners. Resilient tabs are formed on side walls of the housing and grip a cover plate surface to define a snap-fit attachment. Once the cover is attached to the plastic housing, the printed circuit board is enclosed within the cavity between the cover and the housing. The cover includes a plurality of heat transfer fins and/or stamped indentations that form surfaces that are positioned in close proximity to the printed circuit board. The cover utilizes these fins and surfaces to form a heat sink for cooling electronics mounted to the printed circuit board.
