    • To provide a multiband-support radio-frequency module in which the occurrence of a harmonic signal in an amplifier circuit is suppressed and the output of a radio-frequency signal containing unwanted harmonic components is prevented. A first signal path SL1 and a second signal path SL2 are provided such that they intersect each other at least once in a multilayer substrate 2, as viewed from above. With this configuration, high-output radio-frequency signals output from a first amplifier circuit 31 and a second amplifier circuit 32 can be prevented from interfering with other elements disposed in the multilayer substrate 2. It is thus possible to provide a multiband-support radio-frequency module 1 exhibiting excellent RF characteristics by suppressing the occurrence of harmonic signals in each of the first and second amplifier circuits 31 and 32 and by preventing the output of radio-frequency signals containing unwanted harmonic components.

    • An apparatus is provided for load modulating a power amplifier that is configured to output a multiband radio frequency signal comprising at least a first frequency band and a second frequency band. The apparatus comprises a multiplexer (31) coupled to receive a multiband radio frequency signal from the output of a power amplifier, and configured to separate the multiband radio frequency signal into first and second frequency band signals. A first load modulator circuit (33i) is provided in a first branch, the first load modulator circuit coupled to receive the first frequency band signal, and configured to load modulate the first frequency band signal. A second load modulator circuit (332) is provided in a second branch, the second load modulator circuit coupled to receive the second frequency band signal, and configured to load modulate the second frequency band signal.

    • A tunable loadline is disclosed. In an exemplary embodiment, an apparatus includes an amplifier configured to output an amplified signal having a selected power level and a first impedance network coupled to receive the amplified signal at an input terminal and generate a first output signal having a first power level at a first output terminal. The first impedance network being configured to load the amplified signal to convert the selected power level to the first power level. The apparatus also includes a second impedance network configured to selectively receive the first output signal and generate a second output signal having a second power level at a second output terminal. The second impedance network being configured to combine with the first impedance network to load the amplified signal to convert the selected power level to the second power level.
