Further, data related to the non-alarm event that occurred at the premise may be compared to data related to non-alarm events that occurred at other premises and, based on the comparison, one or more authorities may be alerted to the non-alarm event.

Determining that an attempted door entry is occurring can include determining, based on the sensor data, that a person is located near the smart lock; and determining, based on analyzing the smart lock data, that the smart lock data satisfies criteria for an attempted door entry.

摘要： An unattended ground sensor unit (30) is disclosed comprising an antenna (2) which is accommodated mainly in a head portion (5) of the unit. The antenna (2) comprises a base conductor (100) and a top conductor (102), both of which are circular plates arranged in a horizontal plane. An antenna rod (204) is electrically connected to the top conductor (102). A hole is provided in the base conductor (100) and the antenna rod (204) extends through the hole to be connected to antenna control circuitry on a printed circuit board (104) on the reverse side of the base conductor (100). An insulating ring (106) is provided around the antenna rod (204) where it extends through the base conductor (100) so that the antenna (rod 204) is electrically insulated from the base conductor (100). Two shorting pins (205) are provided between the top conductor (102) and the base conductor (100). The shorting pins (20) are provided on diametrically opposite sides of the antenna rod (204). A dielectric spacer (202) is provided having a keying cutout (112) that can be engaged to resist its rotation.

摘要： The components of the alarm system are fully enclosed within a portable housing and require no external power or data signal connections. An audible alarm signal is generated in response to the output to one or more sensors indicating a particular occurrence, if a proximity signal from a mobile transmitter located within a given range of the vehicle is not received, indicating that the driver has left the vehicle unattended and vulnerable to attack. When the vehicle is being driven by an authorized driver having the transmitter, the received proximity signal prevents the generation of the audible alarm resulting from sensor being triggered by vehicle movement during transit including irregular road surface conditions. A GPS unit transmits a signal indicating the state of the alarm and the location of the housing in response to the alarm signal.

The sensors are connected together via connection cables that include pin-type engagement structure for connection with the sensors. The sensors may include a graduated sensory alert that changes as a person or object approaches. The pin-type connection arrangement includes a receiver having a passage for receiving an insert. The insert and a first end of the cable have matching cross-sections that enable the cable to be inserted within the receiver in a single orientation. A series of pins extend from the cable, and a pin contact arrangement is associated with the receiver. The insert may be one of at least a pair of differently configured inserts, each of which has a cross-section that matches only one end of the cable. Each insert includes an end wall, which includes a series of openings through which the pins extend.

A seismic sensor can be configured to receive a plurality of seismic data signals. A microcontroller can be configured to count the number of times the noise threshold is exceeded over a defined time interval by the plurality of seismic data signals, and then detect and classify the presence of an intruder based on the count. Additionally, an amplitude evaluation module can be configured to determine a signal amplitude for the seismic data signals associated with the detected intruder and compare the detected intruder signal amplitude to known signal amplitudes in order to determine a sub-type of the intruder. Finally, a transmission source can be configured to transmit intruder detection and classification information to a remote location.
