摘要： The present invention presents a tunnel construction large-scale integrated geophysical advanced detection model test device. The model test device includes a tunnel surrounding rock, a main tunnel model, a model test case, a water-containing geological structure device, a numerical control automated construction device and a main control chamber. The model test device is a large-scale integrated geophysical advanced detection model test device meeting the detection using a seismic wave method, an electromagnetic method and a direct-current electric method. By using the geophysical advanced detection model test device, the geophysical response features of the water-containing geological structure device in front of a tunnel face may be studied, multiple geophysical advanced detection forward and inversion methods for the water-containing geological structure device are verified, and the relationship between some geophysical detection method results and water burst quantity is studied, for the advanced prediction and water burst quantity prediction in actual engineering.

摘要： The present invention provides a transmitter for an electromagnetic survey system for transmitting signals having a waveform comprising at least a first pulse and a second pulse, wherein the first and second pulses are different in at least one of shape and power. Embodiments of the invention enable combining various distinct pulses that may have been optimized for respective applications to form a transmitter waveform for conducting a geological survey. In effect, the embodiments of the present invention provides an EM system that is substantially equivalent to multiple EM systems operating at the same time for collecting data in relation to different aspects of the geology of interest. Advantageously, the benefits of the present invention can be obtained without the undesirable complexity and cost associated with the simultaneous deployment of multiple EM systems.

摘要： A detector/sensor/locator device for objects and materials of interest comprises a Faraday cage for containing or suspending a sample object or material of interest. The object or material of interest under principles of quantum theory emits electromagnetic radiation having a unique electromagnetic signature. The Faraday cage may have a cone-shape for channeling emitted electromagnetic waves upward to a barrel having mounted therein an L-shaped antenna element which may be free to rotate horizontally about the barrel or fixed in parallel with a second antenna element of similar length extending from a side of the barrel. The first and second antennae elements cooperate to detect, sense the presence of and locate a target object, the free-to-rotate antenna element capable of pointing in the direction of the target object or material. A magnetometer may be attached to an antenna element and monitored for electromagnetic field strength and/or an oscilloscope may be utilized to display signals taken from antennae coils associated with the barrel. Two magnets may be attached to the antenna elements to enhance the magnetic field. A very low frequency wave may be used to enhance (modulate) the electromagnetic wave radiation generated by the object or material of interest in comparison with a like received electromagnetic wave of unique signature of the object/material of interest.

Also disclosed is a method for locating objects hidden below a surveyed surface, wherein the at least two modes of operation of the locating system can be selected.

摘要： A method and apparatus for generating an electromagnetic (EM) field from a sub-sea source is disclosed. In one embodiment, a sub-sea source includes a step-down transformer coupled to receive a sinusoidal source wave via a tow cable, and is further coupled to output a sinusoidal wave to a silicon-controlled rectifier (SCR) circuit. A control circuit coupled to the SCR circuit is configured to selectively activate various ones of the SCRs therein in order to control a portion of the sinusoidal wave that is rectified. The output current provided by the SCR is determined by the portion of the sinusoidal wave that is rectified thereby. The output current is provided to electrodes coupled to the sub-sea source, and the output current is passed therebetween. The strength of the EM field is based on the output current.
