摘要： A device for holding a textile area of a textile piece is provided, for a process of washing and/or drying the textile piece. The device includes at least two opposing clamping surface elements which can be closed by means of a pre-clamping device. The pre-clamping device grips the textile area introduced between the clamping surface elements and extended parallel to the clamping surface, by application of a pre-clamping force between the clamping surface elements. The textile area can be held immovably in the extension surface of the clamping surface relative to the clamping surface elements. The clamping surface elements have a clamping surface with a surface area at least as large as the textile area. The device includes a nozzle for application of a fluid and/or a washing agent to the textile area for washing the textile area or for application of air to the textile area for smoothing drying.

摘要： This invention relates to a method and apparatus for washing articles. Said method and apparatus enabling efficient cleaning and drying of garments and other items within a receptacle (29) having no rotational components. In a preferred embodiment, this is achieved by providing at least one receptacle (29) for containing the washing articles, the receptacle (29) having a plurality of subdivisions for accommodating separate articles. The present invention also includes a plurality of spray distribution nozzles (15, 16) to direct a suitable quantity of water and detergent onto the separate washing articles and then controlling a predetermined cycle of washing and rinsing. As the washing articles are washed and dried separately, the creases that are associated with prior art washing machines are significantly reduced, and the garments are ready to wear without the further laborious and time-consuming task of ironing.

An opening/closing door (2) includes, at a front surface thereof, a control panel (3) which includes at least a setting portion (4) and a display portion (5), a handle portion (8) for operating a holding portion used in opening/closing the opening/closing door (2), a cover (7) which covers the handle portion (8) during washing of a to-be-washed object, and first detection means which detects movement of the cover (7). The cover (7) is provided so as to be movable between the handle portion (8) and the control panel (3). By moving the cover (7) during washing of the to-be-washed object, the cover (7) causes the handle portion (8) to appear on the front surface of the opening/closing door (2) to enable an operation of the holding portion and disables an operation of the control panel (3) by covering the control panel (3). The first detection means temporarily stops scattering of washing water to cause a standby state.
