    • There is provided a refrigerating assembly for temporarily storing an item at a first temperature lower than an ambient temperature. The refrigerating assembly comprises a container for receiving the item and a shell adapted for removably receiving the container therein. The container comprises a sidewall having therein defined a cavity containing an amount of a refrigerant medium having a second temperature lower than the ambient temperature for temporarily maintaining the item received in the container at the first temperature. The shell has an outer surface which is at the ambient temperature and an inner surface which has a layer of thermally insulating material mounted thereon for thermally insulating the shell from the container, thereby maintaining the outer surface at the ambient temperature. There is further provided a method for temporarily storing an item at a first temperature lower than an ambient temperature.

Embodiments further relate to food-laden chafing dishes disposed in the receptacles of the invention and methods for transporting food laden chafing dishes with the receptacles of the invention and serving food therefrom.

    • One embodiment includes a package system containing a main container with a smaller container nested in it. The smaller container is filled with a secondary food item designed to be mixed into the primary food item. The smaller container is placed within the main container. The area of the main container not occupied by the smaller container includes a main food item. Both containers are sealed with one film. Before consumption, a consumer will place the package in a microwave to heat. Once heated, the smaller container is removed from the main container, creating space in the main container previously occupied by the smaller container. The main food item in the main container will re-position creating space between the top of the main food item to the edge of the main container. The secondary item can be added into the main container without overflowing out of the main container.

    • A collapsible goods container has a rectangular base panel (10) with two hinge lines (37,38) extending between the width edges (17,18), parallel to the length edges (15,16) and disposed in the central region of the base panel. A first side wall (11) is hinged to a first length edge (15) of the base panel, the height of the side wall being not greater than one half of the length of a width edge (17) of the base panel. A second side wall (12) is connected to the first side wall (11) by opposed pairs of end walls (13,14) hinged to the side walls, each end wall having a fold line (23) disposed substantially centrally between the first and second side walls and substantially parallel to the common edges of the respective end and side walls. Fasteners (44) are provided to connect together the base panel and the adjacent edge of the second side wall, when the container is fully erected. When the fasteners are released, the container may be collapsed by folding inwardly both end walls (13,14) to bring the first and second side walls (11,12) close together and then hinging the side walls down to overlie one part (40) of the base panel to one side of the hinge lines (37,38) therein.     • An insulated logistic container includes an outer case, an inner case defining a receiving space for holding articles and being located in the outer case, an insulating material disposed in an insulation space formed between the outer and the inner case, and a top cover pivotally connected to a top of the outer case to openably close the receiving space. In a delivery system using such insulated logistic containers to deliver articles to clients, articles having similar product temperatures are positioned in the same insulated container. Eutectic plates or consumptive refrigerant, such as dry ice, is used together with the insulated logistic container to achieve good product temperature control, making the delivery system more efficient and cost-effective, and the insulating effect and the delivery efficiency thereof are improved.
