    • A reusable assembled box and a method of transport thereof are provided, in that the box has a base with greater strength, and is capable of disassembled into compact pieces facilitating sending back thereof, thus reducing a transport cost and enabling reuse of the box in higher frequency. The box comprises a first member, a second member, and coupling members. The first member is in a substantially rectangular shape, comprises a base and a pair of opposing side walls folded up from the base. The second member is in a substantially rectangular shape and comprises a base, overlain on the base of the first member, in a shape substantially identical to that of the first member, and a pair of side walls adjacent to the walls of the first member. The coupling members detachably couples upper end corners of adjacent side walls of the first and second members assembled into a box by overlaying the bases of the first and second members. Thus the box can be easily assembled with a pair of board-like bases in a simple and substantially rectangular shape by overlaying the bases, thus realizing a base having greater strength, and enabling packing of heavy parts into the box, and when the box is reused, it can be disassembled into rectangular boards of a substantially the same shape and compactly piled up for sending back, thus transport cost can be reduced.

    • A pretaped container blank which may be quickly and easily formed into a three-dimensional container without the need for additional components or tools. The container blank includes (i) a plurality of interconnected panels, and (ii) a plurality of closure flaps including a carrier flap hingedly connected to at least one of the panels. The tape structure is attached to the container blank and includes (i) a release surface on the carrier flap, and (ii) a length of closure adhesive tape extending over substantially the entire length of the release surface and a distance across the panel or flap to which the carrier flap is connected sufficient for the tape to remain attached to the container blank upon removal of that length of the tape from the release surface. Several embodiments of container blanks and tape structures are disclosed.

    • The container of the present invention includes polygonal sidewalls with at least some of the upper edges of the side walls each having a container locking flap thereon and with at least one other of the side walls being free from locking flaps. The lid has polygonal edge walls sized to matingly fit over the upper edges of the container side walls. Each of the edge walls of the lid are provided with a lid lock flap which folds upwardly and inwardly with respect to the edge walls and which terminates in an upwardly presented edge spaced downwardly from the top of the lid. When the lid is placed over the top of the container, the lock flaps of the container retentively engage the upwardly presented edges of the lid lock flaps.The lid may be removed after the first locking by severing the lid lock flaps from the lid with a knife or other cutting instrument. The lid may then be locked a second time over the top of the container by rotating it so that the unsevered locking flaps of the lid are placed in registered alignment with the locking flaps on the upper edges of the container.
