A printhead of a 3D printing system may include an extrusion nozzle configured to deposit one or more polymer layers onto a substrate to form the 3D printed article. A microplasma source may be coupled to the extrusion nozzle and may be configured to treat a surface of the substrate or a surface of the deposited polymer layers with plasma from the microplasma. The plasma may include at least one reactive species that may oxidize the surface of the substrate or the surface of the deposited polymer layer upon treatment in order to increase the interlayer adhesion of the 3D printed article.

摘要： A method for manufacturing a flexible strip brush element is disclosed. A multiplicity of thermoplastic monofilaments respectively having first ends and second ends are arranged in substantially parallel fashion and at a prescribed density. Heat is applied to the first ends of the monofilaments so as to melt the first ends of the monofilaments. The monofilaments are transported toward an extrusion die comprising an outlet. Molten thermoplastic resin is extruded from an extrusion die outlet, wherein the outlet is shaped to produce a base having a top and a bottom. The first ends of the monofilaments are brought into physical contact with the top of the base as the base emerges from the extrusion die outlet. The monofilaments and the base are cooled so that the first ends of the monofilaments are fused to the top of the base and the second ends of the monofilaments are free.

摘要： A molding method of hot-melt extruded adhesive tape includes a banded or foliated carrier with peelable surface. A feed mechanism is used to feed the carrier by a conveying mechanism. The thermoplastic rubber can be extruded by the extrusion feed mechanism onto the carrier's peelable surface through 0.2 mm˜1.0 mm extrusion port, so that at least a thin-profile and flat extruded adhesive is formed on the peelable surface. An intermittent controller enables the thermoplastic rubber to be arranged onto the carrier's peelable surface at interval or in continuously-extended pattern. A hardening mechanism is used to speed up the hardening of extruded adhesives into solid adhesive. The method can improve substantially the fabrication efficiency of the hot-melt extruded adhesive tapes, thus saving the material cost and improving the adhesion strength with better advantages and applicability.

摘要： An underlayment material includes a sheet of masticated rubber. A vapor barrier film is extruded onto the sheet of masticated rubber. In one embodiment, a portion of the vapor barrier film extends beyond at least one edge of the sheet of masticated rubber so as to form a flap extending therefrom. An elongated adhesive strip is disposed on a first side of the vapor barrier film. The elongated adhesive strip includes a removable cover film that protects the elongated adhesive strip until the cover film has been removed. The elongated adhesive strip is positioned so as to facilitate sealing of the flap extending from the vapor barrier film of a first unit of the underlayment material to the elongated adhesive strip of a second unit of the underlayment material.
