摘要： A mixing car for transporting molten metals, comprises, a car undercarriage with a longitudinally elongated mixing vessel supported on the undercarriage at each end for rotation about a horizontally disposed longitudinal axis of the vessel. The support means at at least one end comprises a support bridge frame which is universally pivotally mounted on the undercarriage and is provided with journals on each side for accommodating a support roller shaft which is held in position in respect to the support bridge frame by an anti-rotation safety. The roller shafts include ends which extend outwardly from each longitudinal end of the bridge frame and hollow rollers are mounted on each projecting end of the roller shaft on suitable roller bearings. Interior support rollers are also provided which are affixed to the end of the shaft outboard of the roller bearings and which carry diametrically opposite rollers which engage and support the support rollers. The support rollers, in turn, bear against races of annular roller bearing races which are disposed around the vessel longitudinally on each side of a central annular drive gear.

摘要： A ladle car having a body rotatable about a horizontal axis has an opening at its top with a main spout casting on each circumferential side thereof. A removable spout is attached to each main spout casting by means of bolts passing through aligned holes in two sets of matching lugs, one lug of each set being part of the main spout casting and the other being part of the spout. The spout includes a central generally U-shaped refractory lined spout portion having a downwardly extending convex bottom wall and two side walls. The spout portion extends beyond the ladle body and the main spout casting, but not to such an extent that it will prevent rotation of the body through 360*.

摘要： A car structure for very large containers such as mixing tanks for transporting molten pig iron comprises a long tank having a cylindrical trunnion at each end which are supported on bearings on a wheel carriage. At least one of the bearings includes a first bearing part which is secured to a bridge support of the undercarriage and has a top spherical support surface which rotatably receives a similar spherical bottom surface of a second lower bearing part. The lower bearing part includes an opened top bearing support surface for rotatably receiving the trunnions of the large tank and it is closed by a bearing cover part. A tilt drive is carried by the trunnions and it includes a drive member having a driving pinion which meshes with a large gear carried on the trunnion shaft. The tilt drive engages against the outer end of the associated second lower bearing part and it includes a torque stay member which is engaged into a receiving member carried on the lower bearing part. The lower bearing part is anchored in position on the bridge member by a centrally disposed king pin.
