The container can include first and second members selectively engageable with one another. The first and second members can cooperate to define a chamber when the first and second members are engaged with one another. The at least one of the bristle and the blade edge can project away from a side wall of the container into the chamber toward the axis and be directed toward one of the first and second ends.

摘要： Motor driven apparatus for peeling garlic or similar food products has a housing forming a processing chamber and an abrasive rotary disk in the chamber which abrades the skin or husk from the product. A movable gate partially obstructs a discharge slot at the side of the chamber. The gate has a lowered position at which the unobstructed region of the slot is large enough to enable continuous ejection of peelings but too small to allow escape of the product. The gate is raised at the end of each peeling operation enabling centrifugal ejection of the product by the rotary motion of the disk. Manual unloading and separation of the peelings and product is unnecessary thereby providing for fast, high throughput operations. The apparatus may be an accessory which engages on a food processor base.

摘要： The machine comprises a container supported by settable legs so as to make the machine perfectly vertical on its support. The container contains a filter opening into a discharge duct and supporting at its upper portion a cylinder containing at its base a motor and reduction gear assembly driving a central vertical shaft, said assembly being covered by a fixed bottom formed with a radial opening connected to a nozzle emerging above the aforementioned filter. The machine has a disc having at least one boss in relief driven by the shaft and coated on its upper portion with an abrasive layer. The cylinder is closed by a water tight cover through which the products to be cleaned have been introduced while said products are discharged after having been cleaned through a door placed in front of a discharge chute. The fixed bottom is shaped so as to cooperate with the bottom of rotating disc due to the fact that said disc comprises fins promoting the disengagement, in cooperation with the top of the fixed shaped bottom of the scraps and washing liquid by causing, by the rotation of the disc the lower face of which comprises the fins, a pumping effect projecting this liquid plus scraps mixture toward the discharge nozzle.
