摘要： The present invention provides a mailbox with a wireless communication function, used to perform a wireless connection with an electronic apparatus, and including: a mailbox, having a delivery slot and a letter-getting door; and a control module, used to control a wireless module and a locking module, where the control module detects the electronic apparatus by using the wireless module to perform the wireless connection, and the locking module is disposed on the letter-getting door and is used to lock the letter-getting door, where when the control module determines that a received signal strength indicator of the wireless connection is greater than a signal strength default value, the control module releases locking of the locking module to open the letter-getting door.

摘要： In an embodiment, a smart mailbox includes a main body, a sensor module, a camera module, a transmission module and a biometric sensor module. The main body includes an enclosed space for storing mails and an opening for inserting mails into the enclosed space. The sensor module is configured to detect presence of one or more mails in the enclosed space. The camera module is configured to capture one or more images of at least a part of the one or more mails. The transmission module is configured to send a notification of presence of the one or more mails and the one or more images to a user device associated with a user. The biometric sensor module is disposed on the main body and is configured to authenticate identity of the user accessing the mailbox to retrieve the one or more mails from the enclosed space of the mailbox.

Another embodiment features control and monitoring of the mailbox via a mobile consumer electronics device, as a smart phone or tablet.

摘要： The present invention discloses a method and system to track and process the received postal items in their personal mailbox. The present invention resides inside the personal mailbox of a user. When mail item arrives in the mailbox, controller initiates the tiny robot arm to pick up the item and moves it to scanner and initiates the scanner to scan the item. Controller then collects associated entities of the received mail item using OCR and sends a notification to the user. An associated entity includes sender name and address and other information on the face of the mail item. If there is no sender address in the mail item then controller realizes that the received mail item is junk/unwanted and sends it to shredder using robot arm for trash.

A door is pivotally coupled to the housing and is movable between open and closed configurations relative to the open front.
