The operator interface system includes a start screen having fewer than five start screen buttons. The touch screen device is generally a kiosk located within a store. A store map screen is linked to one of the start screen buttons and includes several department buttons integrated into a store layout. A products screen is linked to one of the start screen buttons and provides access to information about the plurality of products sold by the store organized into an intuitive hierarchy. A store services screen is linked to one of the start screen buttons and provides access to one or more service description screens.

    • The invention broadly comprises a computer-based system for managing data in a business entity and includes a central application for the business entity, a local application linked to the central application, a first interface linked to the local application, and a plurality of user interfaces located in the location and linked to the local application.     • Vehicle (4) are automatically identified using a specially constructed windshield (8) which carries identifying indicia (10). The window is a layered construction, similar to safety glass, and includes an intermediate layer (20) sandwiched between inner and outer glass layers (22, 24). The intermediate layer carries the identifying indicia, typically in a bar coded pattern. The indicia are invisible to the unaided human eye but are detectable when illuminated with a chosen electromagnetic radiation, typically infrared light from a CO.sub.2 laser. The bar coded indicia are preferably unique to the particular vehicle. Since the bar coded indicia can cover substantially an entire windshield, and since windshields are normally kept clean, sensing of the indicia is aided. The vehicle identification system thus permits the non-invasive identification of a vehicle even under adverse environmental condition.

    • Assemblies of sheets of corrugated plastic board and molded plastic interlock elements providing useful products such as containers. Sheets of corrugated plastic board are interlocked with one another by means of molded plastic connector pieces or strips having receptor slots containing spaced lock ramps. The slots receive a uniform edge of a sheet of corrugated plastic which is provided with spaced slits aligned with the spaced lock ramps. Entry of the sheet edge into the connector slot causes the spaced lock ramps to compress the edge until the aligned slits pass thereover, and the "memory" of the corrugated plastic board causes the edge portion thereof, beyond the slit, to spring back to its original thickness and thereby lock the edge of the plastic board within the slot of the molded plastic connector.
