    • A booster circuit has: a charge pump configured to perform a booster operation that boosts a voltage supplied from an external power source and outputs the boosted voltage as an output voltage through an output capacitor; and a feedback circuit section configured to control the booster operation depending on the output voltage. A mode of the booster operation includes: a charge mode that charges the output capacitor with the voltage supplied from the external power source; and a discharge mode that discharges the output capacitor. The mode of the booster operation is switched between the charge mode and the discharge mode depending on the output voltage. The feedback circuit section has a booster operation control section that secures a period during which the mode is not switched between the charge mode and the discharge mode in accordance with an external synchronizing signal.

    • A reference voltage generator includes an output terminal, a load circuit connected between the output terminal and a ground voltage terminal, an output transistor connected between the output terminal and a power supply voltage terminal, a first constant current source connected between the output terminal and the power supply voltage terminal, a first switch circuit that selectively connects the output terminal with the output transistor or the first constant current source, and a control circuit that controls a band-gap current to be supplied to the load circuit. In a first state, the first switch circuit connects the output terminal with the output transistor, and the control circuit controls an activation state of the output transistor. In a second state, the first switch circuit connects the output terminal with the first constant current source, and the control circuit controls the amount of current drawn from the first constant current source.

    • A drive voltage generator circuit is provided for developing drive voltages used for driving an LCD panel. The drive voltage generator circuit is composed of a breeder, a buffer amplifier, a switch circuitry, and a set of first to N-th output terminals on which the drive voltages are developed, respectively. The breeder develops a set of first to N-th different voltages on first to N-th nodes, respectively, N being any integer equal to or more than 2, and the first to N-th voltages being associated with grayscale levels, respectively. The switch circuitry switches connections among an input and an output of the buffer amplifier, the first to N-th nodes, and the first to N-th output terminals.

    • A transaction assisting apparatus capable of automatically transacting chain orders. Chain order input unit accepts entry of a chain order and supplies the input chain order to chain order storing unit to be stored therein. Order detecting unit is supplied with an input buy order, and if the buy order placed is for the chain order, it notifies chain order processing unit that the buy order has been placed for the chain order. The chain order processing unit performs a selling/purchasing process with respect to the chain order for which the buy order has been placed. When the selling/purchasing process is completed, deleting unit deletes the corresponding chain order from the chain order storing unit. In the event the price of chained goods has changed, price changing unit changes the price of chain goods correspondingly in an interlocked manner. Display unit selectively displays, on display units, only those chain orders which satisfy certain conditions such as the presence of chained goods.
