摘要： A wireless device and a method for a wireless device served by a first network node on a primary cell (PCell) is provided. The wireless device is capable of using at least two secondary serving cells (SCells). A first request to perform a measurement on at least one cell on a first secondary component carrier (SCC) with a deactivated first SCell using at least a first measurement cycle is received. A second request to perform a measurement on at least one cell on a second SCC with a deactivated second SCell using at least a second measurement cycle is received. An effective serving cell interruption probability (Peff) of missed at least one of Acknowledgement and Negative-Acknowledgement signaling in an uplink direction is determined based on at least the first measurement cycle and the second measurement cycle. A serving cell interruption probability is ensured to not exceed the determined Peff.

The signal measuring apparatus may adjust a measurement requirement or a measurement resource based on a comparison of the UL measurements being performed or to be performed over the measurement period with a capability of the measuring apparatus to perform parallel measurements. The signal measuring apparatus performs the UL measurements based on the adjusted measurement requirement or adjusted measurement resource.

摘要： In one aspect of the teachings herein, a wireless communication network includes two or more radio transmission points sharing the same Physical Cell Identity, PCI, and the network provides a User Equipment, UE, with positioning assistance data indicating the muting patterns used by respective ones of the transmission points for transmitting Positioning Reference Signals, PRS. The respective transmission points sharing the same PCI both transmit PRS identified by the shared PCI, but the transmissions are differentiated as a consequence of the respective muting patterns. Correspondingly, the UE exploits the positioning assistance data from the network, to make PRS measurements that are differentiated with respect to the transmission points sharing the same PCI. Differentiating between PRS as received from the different transmission points sharing the same PCI yields more accurate positioning, whether the positioning is done by the UE, or by the network based on receiving measurements from the UE.

摘要： The present invention relates to methods and apparatus in a RBS and a UE for reference signal (RS) measurements in an OFDM system, that enable having a configurable RS transmission bandwidth which is smaller than the system bandwidth. This allows for better interference coordination of RS, which in turn improves the UE RS measurements used for different services such as positioning. The RBS retrieves the RS transmission bandwidth, determines a RS measurement bandwidth based on this RS transmission bandwidth, and transmits the determined bandwidth to the UE. The UE receives the RS measurement bandwidth and measures the RS in a bandwidth determined based on the received measurement bandwidth and the UE capability.

摘要： In one aspect, the present invention provides a simple method of signaling reference signal muting information to receiving radio equipment, such as items of user equipment (UEs). The reference signals may be positioning reference signals and/or cell-specific reference signals, for example. In one or more embodiments, the present invention proposes a general solution whereby the receiving radio equipment is informed not only on whether muting is used in general in a cell, but also the particular timing and formatting of such muting. Further, the contemplated method provides for the use of dynamic muting patterns, and thus avoids the need for statically defined muting patterns, and provides for coordinated muting control, across two or more network cells. In at least one embodiment, static or less dynamic aspects of the muting configuration is signaled via higher-layer signaling, while lower-layer signaling is used to signal more dynamic aspects of the muting configuration.
