摘要： An improved expandable stent for implantation in a body lumen, such as an artery, and an improved method for making it from a single length of tubing. The stent consists of a plurality of radially expandable cut cylindrical elements generally aligned on a common axis and interconnected by one or more interconnective elements, the elements having a rectangular cross-section from cut-to-cut. The individual radially expandable cylindrical elements are disposed in an undulating pattern. The stent is manufactured by direct laser cutting from a single metal tube using a finely focused laser beam originating from a diode pumped fiber laser with an external pulse generator and passing through a coaxial gas jet structure to impinge on the working surface of the tube as the linear and rotary velocity of the tube is precisely controlled.

摘要： A double barrel sprayer for applying a diluted product such as a diluted cleaning solution to a surface for cleaning thereof and rinsing the diluted product from the surface by spraying a water-only rinse onto the surface. The sprayer can include a force-fitted orifice plate with a plurality of holes for adjusting the water/product mixing ratio. To provide different spray patterns for the water-rinse or diluted product, the sprayer can include a shroud having suitably shaped exit holes. The sprayer includes separate flow paths for the water-only rinse and the diluted product. The flow path for the diluted product includes a mixing chamber in which concentrated product is siphoned from a container and mixed with water supplied by a garden hose. Prior to mixing with the water, the concentrated product passes through an orifice plate having a plurality of holes to provide a substantially constant water/product ratio over a wide range of water pressures. The sprayer includes a removable cover which includes a pair of outlets suitably sized and shaped to obtain desirable spray patterns for the water-only rinse and the diluted product sprayed from the sprayer. A rotatable valve allows selective application of water or diluted product.

摘要： A guide for use with a portable power saw has a cutting tool which revolves about an arbor in order to cut a surface. A set of wheels is coupled to the power saw. The set of wheels is arranged substantially on a line extending through the arbor. The line is perpendicular to the surface during a cutting operation. This allows for easy radius cuts to be made by the power saw without straining either the saw blade or the operator.
