摘要： A method, an apparatus, and a computer program product for wireless communication are provided. A multi-radio device controls wireless communications by identifying one or more connection points between radio(s) of the multi-radio device and an operating system executing on a host device, analyzing a policy relating to the multi-radio device, and exposing, to the operating system, a subset of the connection points based on the policy. A modem manages a connection to an applications processor (AP) by virtualizing physical communication interfaces at the modem, providing a single Internet protocol (IP) interface representing the virtualized physical communication interfaces to a high level operating system (HLOS) at the AP, detecting a physical communication interface connected to the modem, and determining whether to expose the detected physical communication interface to the HLOS as a standalone virtualized physical communication interface, or hide the detected physical communication interface as part of an existing virtualized physical communication interface.

摘要： Techniques are provided for a broadcast client of a wireless communication network. A method may include receiving broadcast content via broadcast delivery on a first resource associated with a first set of carriers. The method may include determining, during unicast idle mode, a second set of carriers comprising neighbor carriers in a current cell. The method may include modifying handoff priorities of the first set of carriers and the second set of carriers based on membership of each carrier in a common set of carriers comprising the first and second sets of carriers and further based on a priority order specified by the wireless communication network. The method may include determining whether to hand over to at least one carrier in one of the first and second sets of carriers based on a handoff decision that takes into account the modified handoff priorities.

In an aspect, the broadcast receiver provides user notification and/or automatically launches an application based on user preferences. In another aspect, the broadcast receiver improves channel switching time by predicting future channel selection based on real-time monitoring of user inputs. In another aspect, the broadcast receiver supports drag-and-drop user interface. In another aspect, the broadcast receiver provides additional information associated with a selected broadcast stream. In another aspect, the broadcast receiver processes a broadcast stream and sends output data to an external device for further processing and/or display. In another aspect, the broadcast receiver simultaneously displays live content and stored content. In another aspect, the broadcast receiver simultaneously receives multiple broadcast streams for displayed on one or more display units. In another aspect, the broadcast receiver collects user statistics and sends the statistics to a network entity.
