摘要： A method and an apparatus for transmitting and receiving System Information (SI) of a femto base station in a wireless communication system are provided. In the method, an SI transmission point is determined using unique identification information of a femto base station itself and unique identification information of a macro base station with which the femto base station is associated. Each of user equipment and the macro base station generate a measurement gap pattern representing an SI reception point using the unique identification information of the femto base station and the unique identification information of the macro base station. SI is received from the femto base station according to the generated measurement gap pattern.

摘要： A method for forming a moving network group by a mobile relay station (MRS) in a mobile multi-hop relay (MMR) system is provided. The MRS determines whether a transportation means mounted with the mobile relay station is at a predetermined location derived from travel information. When a velocity information of the transportation means at the predetermined location is zero (0), the MRS determines whether to include a mobile station (MS) to the moving network group based at least partly upon a signal that the mobile station receives from the mobile relay station.

摘要： A method is provided for recognizing the frequency bandwidth of a base station in a mobile communication system with frequency bandwidth scalability where the transmission frequency bands of base stations and mobile stations having different frequency bandwidths are overlaid with one another. The base stations transmit to a mobile station first information, including information about their frequency bandwidths at the same frequency position over a minimum frequency bandwidth with the same center frequency. The mobile station recognizes the presence of the base stations by comparing the first information from the base stations and detects the frequency bandwidth information in the first information.

摘要： Disclosed is a method for estimating a channel using a pilot signal in a wireless communication system based on multi-carrier multiple access. A transmission side generates a pilot symbol correlated with spread data symbols which is included in a spread symbol generated through a band spreading, inserts the pilot symbol into the spread symbol, and transmits the spread symbol. A reception side receives the spread symbol and detects the pilot signal by using the spread data symbols and pilot symbol included in the spread symbol. Therefore, it is possible to simultaneously obtain both the position optimization of a pilot symbol, according to a channel state such as a correlation band or correlation time (which is an advantage over the pilot-tone-based channel estimation method), and a noise reduction effect by the averaging procedure (which is an advantage over the pilot-channel-based channel estimation method), so that the accuracy of channel estimation can be improved.
