    • Disclosed herein is a motor and a washing machine with the same mounted therein. The motor includes a rotor cup having cooling-holes and lower blades formed at the bottom part thereof. The cooling-holes and lower blades are arranged such that each of the cooling-holes and lower blades is at a prescribed angle to the radial direction of the rotor cup so that the volume of blown air is increased, and thus a blowing force is also increased. The rotor cup is provided at the lower part of the circumference thereof with vents for allowing the air introduced into the inside of the rotor cup to be discharged to the outside therethrough. The rotor is provided at the upper side thereof with backward type upper blades so that the upper part of the motor is separately cooled, whereby cooling efficiency of the motor is improved.

    • A method for supporting handoff and preventing data loss in mobile communications networks is provided. The method for a mobile node establishing a mobile Internet protocol (MIP) with at least one or more wireless packet service systems, each of which has a serving GPRS support node (SGSN) and a gateway GPRS support node (GGSN), includes: a first SGSN connected to the mobile node transmitting predetermined first connection information on the mobile node to at least one or more second SGSNs adjacent to the first SGSN; the second SGSN receiving the first connection information storing the first connection information as a database item, and transmitting 1 first connection acknowledgement message to the first SGSN; if reception of the connection acknowledgement message is successful, the first GGSN connected to the first SGSN transmitting predetermined second connection information on the mobile node to at least one or more second GGSNs connected to the second SGSN; and the second GGSN receiving the second connection information and then transmitting a second connection acknowledgement message to the second GGSN. By transmitting information on a mobile node required for handoff to adjacent foreign agents (FAs) in advance, when handoff is performed, reliable handoff can be performed quickly without resetting and releasing a PPP, such that IP mobility services can be provided.

    • A fabric processing apparatus is provided that is capable of refreshing fabric articles and then maintaining the refreshed state of the fabric articles while they remain stored in a processing space of the apparatus. Condensed fluid generated in the processing space and in a condensing chamber, and fluid remaining in a steam supplying device after processing, are directed to a storage unit through corresponding fluid discharging channels. The flow of fluid through the fluid discharging channels is controlled by corresponding fluid discharge valves so that moisture and odors generated by fluid accumulated in the storage unit cannot flow back into processing space and contaminate the refreshed fabric articles.
