    • The present invention relates to a method and an arrangement to maintain a TCP connection (230) between two hosts (140, 250) in a multi-hop network (110,120). If the connection (230) is inactive (no IP packets sent or received) during a certain period of time, it may happen that the connection (230) is released by certain intermediate network entities such as a Network Address Translation NAT function (130). The current invention overcomes this problem by sending keep-alive packets (210) from one of the hosts (250) towards the other (140) at regular intervals. Said packets (210) prevent the NAT (130) from releasing the connection (230). In order to not disturb the other host (140) e.g. a mobile terminal in a sleeping mode, the keep-alive packets (210) are adapted in such way that they are sent far enough to reach the NAT (130) but not all way to the other host (140).

    • A method is provided for verifying an engine torque estimation and includes estimating the engine torque based on the amount of fuel injected into the engine, where the engine torque is obtained from a fuel injection table, estimating a first vehicle weight value by a calculation based on acceleration of the vehicle and the estimated engine torque, estimating an auxiliary brake torque by using an auxiliary brake table, estimating a second vehicle weight value by a calculation based on the estimated auxiliary brake torque, and comparing the first vehicle weight value with the second vehicle weight value. The method facilitates detecting if an actual engine torque value deviates from the original engine torque value of a vehicle without measuring the engine torque with a separate torque sensor.

    • A method for controlling a cruise control operable to maintain a set speed of a vehicle according to a plurality of goal droop curves is provided. The goal droop curves include: an isochronous droop curve; a top droop curve; and a bottom droop curve. The method includes performing command according to the droop curves; registering that the vehicle soon will enter an uphill slope; estimating in a vehicle position before entering the uphill slope if a downshift in a transmission of the vehicle will occur when traveling the uphill slope during a coming time period (testimation); if the downshift is estimated to occur then performing a fuel saving action during the time period in order to avoid the downshift. The fuel saving action is one of an adaptation of transmission downshifting limits or to during the time period performing command according to a second isochronous curve.

The conference bridge is arranged to continuously create a 3D positional audio environment signal for each participant as a listening participant, by rendering the speech of each participant as a 3D positioned virtual sound source and excluding the speech of the listening participant, and to distribute each created 3D positional audio environment signal to the corresponding listening participant. • The described messaging arrangement for delivering communication messages to recipients in a communication system comprises a number of messaging servers (201-204), a common message store (205) and a dispatcher (206). The messaging servers (201-204) are able to receive a message destined to a recipient, to store the message in the common message store and to inform the dispatcher of the received message that has been stored in the common message store. The dispatcher is then arranged to decide which messaging server to invoke for delivery of the message to the recipient. This decision could be made based on delivery preferences of the recipient. Thereafter, the dispatcher invokes the messaging server that has been decided to deliver the message, and the decided messaging server retrieves and delivers the message to the recipient. If necessary, the decided messaging server adapts the message to a message type handled by the decided messaging server. By this solution, a recipient could receive the message in any preferred message type, regardless of originating message type. Also, this arrangement makes it easier for an operator to integrate new messaging technologies handling new message types in the system.
