    • A process for architecting a figure input/output interface of an instance is provided in an object-oriented design supporting system or the like. An applicable graphic editor is provided with a figure editor, which expands a function for defining a method to draw a user figure and also a function for defining a slot of a figure attribute when the user figure is designated; and furthermore expands a function to produce an instance when the user figure is drawn and also a function for coupling the instances when the figures are connected with each other. Then, input/output figures of a design component are defined and inputted with employment of this applicable graphic editor. In the output, a slot of the displayed instance is updated and then a display is deformed. As a result, the formation of the figure input/output for the instance such as the design component is available by only operating the screen of the applicable graphic editor. According to another aspect, a user figure corresponding to a class is formed by operating a screen of a figure editor, whereby a connection point and a slot of a figure attribute is designated. As a result, a program for inputting/outputting a figure, coupling the figures and deforming the displayed figure is automatically produced, so that it is possible to input a figure of an instance, couple the instances by the figure connections and to realize an animation description by updating the slot of the instance.

    • In order to execute a high-resolution reconstructible distance-driven back projection process and to generate a high-resolution tomographic image, an X-ray CT apparatus 1 determines the presence/absence of opposing data corresponding to each piece of target data on the basis of scanning conditions, and calculates a phase range where opposing data is present (Step 21). The X-ray CT apparatus 1 performs high-resolution conversion of a zero-insertion method on a phase range where opposing data is present, and performs high-resolution conversion using a data interpolation method on a phase range where no opposing data is present, thereby creating double sampled high-resolution projection data, and calculates a view weight (Step 22).     • Provided is an information retrieval method including: retrieving, by a computer, a name including input characters from a database for storing the name, an attribute word associated with the name, and a degree of relevance between the name and the attribute word; outputting the retrieved name as a candidate name; and extracting an attribute word associated with the candidate name, the extracting including: calculating a degree of independency indicating a degree of difference between the extracted attribute words, a degree of coverage indicating an extent to which the combination of the extracted attribute words covers the candidate names, and a degree of equality of a number of corresponding candidate names for each attribute word; and calculating a score of the combination of the attribute words based on at least one of the independency, the coverage and the equality to output the combinations of the attribute words to an output unit.
