摘要： An apparatus and method for measuring a flow velocity profile of fluid traveling in a pipe or conduit uses an ultrasonic wave transmitted from an ultrasonic wave transducer mounted at an angle on the outside of a pipe using a wedge, and made incident onto the fluid in the pipe to measure the fluid flow velocity profile, using the principle that a frequency of an ultrasonic wave, reflected by a reflector existing in the fluid, is changed depending on a flow velocity due to Doppler effect. The transmission frequency and the angle of incidence onto the pipe can be selected to suppress frequency dependence of a measured value due to Lamb wave and allow the flow velocity or flow rate of fluid to be measured with a greater accuracy.

摘要： In a connector for memory card used in a mobile equipment, a locking mechanism of a memory card at a card lock position is integrally provided with a push-on/push-off mechanism constituted by a hart-shaped cam and a cam pin, so that the connector can be downsized. A hart-shaped cam groove unit is provided on a contact block fixed on a housing, and an end of a locking member is rotatably borne on a slider which can reciprocally be moved in an inside of the housing. The cam pin is provided on the other end of the locking member, and the cam pin is moved along the hart-shaped cam groove corresponding to reciprocal movement of the slider. Furthermore, a locking protrusion is provided on the locking member for protruding toward the memory card. The hart-shaped cam groove is formed in a manner so that not only the movement of the slider is locked but also the locking protrusion engages with a recess used to be locked provided on the memory card at a card lock position.

摘要： An outdoor unit (1) of an air conditioner comprises a unit case having a rectangular shape in section and composed of side panels (4, 4, - -) in which a machine chamber (3) and a heat exchanger chamber (2) are defined so as to be vertically aligned in an installed state with the heat exchanger chamber being disposed above the machine chamber and being sectioned therefrom by means of a partition plate (12) which also acts as a drain plate or pan, and the side panels surrounding the heat exchanger chamber is formed with air suction ports (4a, 4a - -). The outdoor unit (1) further comprises a heat exchanger unit (17, 18) having four side wall sections at least opposing two of which are inclined inward by a predetermined angle with respect to inner surfaces of the side panels to which the air suction ports are formed. Thus, the outside air can be effectively and smoothly introduced inside the outdoor unit. The outdoor unit is also provided with a duct unit (20) arranged in the unit case in association with the drain pan (12) for effectively discharging drain, cooling electrical part such as heat sink (22) and improving the outer appearance of the outdoor unit.

The organic EL device includes an anode, a plurality of organic layers including a phosphorescent light-emitting layer, and a cathode laminated on a substrate, in which at least one organic layer selected from the phosphorescent light-emitting layer, a hole-transporting layer, an electron-transporting layer, and a hole-blocking layer contains an indolocarbazole compound represented by the general formula (1). Also disclosed is a hole-transporting material suitable for use in the phosphorescent light-emitting device. The hole-transporting material is a triptycene derivative which has substituents at the 9- and 10-positions and is substituted with an aromatic group containing at least one diarylamino group (—ArNAr2). The organic EL device contains the triptycene derivative in at least one organic layer selected from the group of a phosphorescent light-emitting layer, a hole-transporting layer, an electron-blocking layer, and an exciton-blocking layer. The diarylamino group (—NAr2) may be fused to form an aromatic heterocyclic group such as a carbazolyl group.
