    • In a liquid droplet ejection apparatus having a function liquid droplet ejection head which is mounted on a movable table and which ejects a function liquid droplet toward a workpiece in a manner synchronized with scanning by the movable table, and a function liquid supply apparatus, the function liquid supply apparatus is provided with a function liquid tank for supplying a function liquid, a connection tube of resin make for connecting the function liquid droplet ejection head and the function liquid tank together, a flexible rack member which moves the flexible rack member in a manner to follow the scanning of the function liquid droplet ejection head, and an earth connection which eliminates the static electricity accumulated in the connection tube as a result of contacting the connection tube. By thus earthing the connection tubes, the static electricity to be accumulated in the connection tube is removed.

    • A lens meter is adapted to measure optical characteristics of lenses of both an eye glass unit and an inspection glass unit, and includes a glass unit support, light sources, light-projecting optical systems, light detectors, light-detecting optical systems, and inspection glass frame adaptors for the inspection glass unit. The glass unit support includes two sandwiching members displaceable nearer or apart from each other and adapted to sandwich an outer peripheral portion of the eye glass unit, and the adaptors are adapted to be fitted to and detached from the two sandwiching members. The adaptors include projecting sandwiching portions which project toward the opposite sandwiching members when the adaptors are fitted to the sandwiching members and which contact those portions of the frame of the inspection glass unit other than movable areas of tabs of detachable lenses projecting from a frame of an inspection glass lens unit supported by the glass unit support as the eye glass unit, whereas those portions of the adaptors other than the projecting sandwiching portions do not interfere with the movable areas of the tabs, respectively.

    • Disclosed are a spectacle lens optical characteristics measuring method and a lens meter in which measurement beams are not intercepted by lens pressers. The left and right lenses of a pair of spectacles are point-supported by lens rest shafts at some midpoints in the optical paths of a pair of left and right measurement optical systems, and the spectacle frame for the lenses is held by a pair of frame retaining plates from the front and rear sides. In this state, the spectacle lenses are pressed against lens rest shafts by lens presser shafts to be thereby supported, whereby the way the spectacle frame is held by the frame retaining plates is corrected. After the correction, the lens presser shafts are retracted from the measurement optical paths of the measurement optical systems, and measurement beams around the lens rest shafts transmitted through the spectacle lenses are received by a CCD of the measurement optical systems, the optical characteristics of the spectacle lenses being obtained by a computation control circuit on the basis of measurement signals from the CCD.
