    • A motor has been proposed in German Offenlegungsschrift DI-OS 2,730,142 and corresponding U.S. Pat. No. 4,211,963. The windings of the tacho winding are diposed here next to the stator winding in the flat air gap of the main magnet, and the current changes in the statorwinding induce therefor in the tachowinding voltages interfering with a precise working control. On the other hand would a disposition of the tacho generator at a different position of the motor increase its axial length considerably, especially when a magnetic shielding between the motor and the tachogenerator is provided. Therefore, it is a purpose of the present invention to provide a motor ofthe kind initially cited, which with compact construction and especially short length in direction of its rotation axis provides a low interference tacho signal remaining the same or improving with increasing age of the motor, for example in order to improve in any case, but at least to keep the same the ganging flutter of a speed controlled direct drive motor for a record player.

    • Drive arrangement comprising a collectorless d.c. motor and a rpm-regulating arrangement. The motor comprises a permanent-magnet rotor and a stator winding arrangement. The latter is connected to a current source in dependence upon angular-position signals by means of an electrical commutation arrangement. The rpm-regulating arrangement produces a regulator signal that is a function of the deviation of the rotor's actual rpm from a desired rpm. There is provided an arrangement for modulating the regulator signal in synchronism with the rotation of the rotor. As a result of the action of the modulation arrangement, the current flowing in the stator winding arrangement between each two successive commutation operations initially builds up beginning at a point in time at least approximately coinciding with the point in time at which the commutation occurs, and the drops off again until a point in time at least approximately coinciding with the point in time at which the next-following commutation occurs.

The rotor (16) of the motor (10) supports a permanently-magnetized exciter magnet (13, 13") having at least two pairs of poles and a permanently-magnetized control magnet (18, 18', 18"). At least one detector (20, 34, 26) of rotary position cooperates with the control magnet, and is responsive to the magnetic field to sense the position of the rotor.
