摘要： A wheel bearing includes a roller bearing and a wheel flange is disposed around the bearing. The periphery of the wheel flange is profiled over approximately half its axial width with a peripheral locking receptacle in the form of a polygon or polyhedron shape for receiving a brake disk or brake drum thereon and for transmitting the torque between the brake disk or drum and the wheel flange. In addition, fastening bolts between the brake disk or drum and the wheel flange are received in holes in the wheel flange for holding the brake disk or drum to the wheel flange. But, the torque is transmitted due to the peripheral locking receptacle formed on the wheel flange.

摘要： A wheel mount for a vehicle wheel having a wheel flange on the exterior of which is mounted a rotation bearing. The wheel flange bore is internally splined. A cardan shaft has an externally threaded shaft portion projecting into the bore of the wheel flange. A resilient sheet metal nut is internally screw threaded to be screwed onto the threaded portion of the cardan shaft. The nut has a radially outwardly extending flange which engages the wheel flange so as to axially fix the nut at the wheel flange as the nut is tightened on the cardan shaft portion. The outer circumference of the nut, axially at its threaded portion, has radially resilient tongues projecting out into the splining of the wheel flange to permit the nut to be screwed onto the cardan shaft portion and either to permit the nut to be unscrewed or in a different design to prohibit the nut from being unscrewed. Through the nut, the wheel flange and the cardan shaft are secured.

摘要： For maintaining a desired level of belt tension upon a change in the spacing of belt rollers on which the belt is trained, which results from heating of the housing that supports at least one of the rollers of the belt, the tensioning roller for the belt is supported on a pivot plate or rocker arm. The plate has a pivot and the tensioning roller is mounted on the plate eccentric of the pivot of the plate. A connecting rod extends between the pivoting plate and a connection point. The connecting rod has a different coefficient of thermal expansion than that of the housing on which the belt roller is supported, whereby as the heat caused expansion of the housing moves the belt rollers apart, the connecting rod pivots the plate for the tensioning roller in a direction and to an extent to maintain a desired, e.g. substantially constant tension level on the belt. Or, the connecting rod and tensioning roller may be positioned for altering the level of tension during heat-caused expansion, e.g., increasing that tension.
