摘要： A printable media comprising a composite supporting substrate, having an image side and a non-image side, that contains a first and a second constituent material layers wherein, at least, one of the constituent material layer is a fiber layer and wherein the first and the second materials layers are laminated together with a flame resistant adhesion layer. The printable media further comprises an image receiving layer that is coated on the second layer on the image side of the composite supporting substrate. In the printable media described herein, at least, the image side of the composite supporting substrate and the image receiving layer are textured surfaces. Also disclosed is a method for producing the textured media.

In one example, a print medium can include an open paper substrate and a multivalent metal salt treatment applied to the open paper substrate at a multivalent metal salt loading into the open paper substrate at from 0.5 gsm to 5 gsm. The open paper substrate can include wood fiber including softwood fiber, hardwood fiber, or a blend of softwood fiber and hardwood fiber; binder including starch, protein, or hydrophilic polymer; and from 20 wt % to 50 wt % of TiO2.

摘要： A packaging material and method for making the same are disclosed. The packaging material includes a strength layer and image layer. The strength layer has two opposed surfaces. The strength layer includes softwood fibers having an average length ranging from about 1.5 mm to about 3.0 mm. The softwood fibers present in an amount ranging from about 70 wt % to about 100 wt % of a total wt % of the strength layer. The image layer includes hardwood fibers having an average length ranging from about 0.5 mm to about 1.5 mm. The hardwood fibers present in an amount ranging from about 70 wt % to about 100 wt % of a total wt % of the image layer. The image layer includes a water soluble di-valent or multi-valent salt present in an amount ranging from about 5 lb per ton of total fibers in the image layer to about 50 lb per ton of the total fibers in the image layer.
