摘要： A method of wireless communication between user equipments includes retrieving user data and a criterion via a software application on a first wireless user equipment having communication interfaces. One of the interfaces is selected based on the criterion. The interface is used to identify wireless user equipments in a proximity of the first user equipment. A total number of user equipments in the proximity of the first user equipment is determined, and, when the number is below a value, another interface is selected. The other interface is used to identify wireless user equipments in the proximity of the first user equipment. A match between the user data of the first user equipment and user data of a second user equipment, causes initiation of wireless communication between the first and the second user equipments by sending to any of the user equipments a message associated with the match.

摘要： A method and apparatus for handing over a terminal connection. A handover request is sent from a source base station to a target base station. A first control message is also sent from the source base station to a control server, the first control message including a session identifier for identifying the session, and current parameters for the session. If the target base station is associated with a cache storage unit containing the content data, a second control message is sent from the control server to the target base station, the second control message including a content identifier, the session identifier and the current parameters. At the target base station, the content data packets are retrieved from the cache storage unit, and a header of each retrieved content data packet is populated with parameters calculated using the received current parameters and session identifier. The content data packets are then sent from the base station towards the terminal.

摘要： A method and apparatus for delivering network operator advertisements to a mobile terminal in association with providing content from a content delivery network (CDN) are disclosed. A network node resides within a wireless communication network supporting the mobile terminal. The network node receives a content request directed to locally-cached content from the CDN, and determines that the requested content includes or is associated with an advertisement placeholder. In response to this determination, the network node sends an advertisement ID request that includes a network operator ID to an external advertisement server. An advertisement ID is received from the advertisement server responsive to the advertisement ID request. The network node maps the advertisement ID to a network operator advertisement associated with the advertisement ID, and dynamically links the network operator advertisement to the requested content. The network node delivers the requested content, including the network operator advertisement, to the mobile terminal.

摘要： There is described a method and apparatus for sending data through one or more packet data networks. A stripped-down packet is sent from a packet sending node towards a cache node, the stripped down packet including in its payload a pointer to a payload data segment stored in a file at the cache node. When the stripped-down packet is received at the cache node, the pointer is used to identify the payload data segment from data stored at the cache node. The payload data segment is inserted into the stripped-down packet in place of the pointer so as to generate a full size packet, which is sent from the cache node towards a client.
