摘要： A light generating part generates a first light based on a first control signal. A first driving part outputs a panel driving signal. A display panel receives the first light or a second light that is provided from an exterior to display an image based on the panel driving signal. A sensing part outputs a sensing signal based on the second light. A second driving part compares a reference voltage range with the sensing signal to output the first control signal. The reference voltage range is determined by a first reference voltage and a second reference voltage. Therefore, the light generating part is turned on/off based on the second light to decrease the power consumption of the light generating part, and an operation of the light generating part is stabilized.

摘要： Pixels of red, blue and green are sequentially arranged in the row. The red and green pixels are alternately arranged in the column while the blue pixels being repeatedly arranged in the column. The four red and green pixels surrounding the two blue pixels at the two neighboring pixel rows face each other around the blue pixels. Gate lines are arranged at the respective rows to transmit scanning signals. Data lines cross over the gate lines in an insulating manner, and are arranged at the respective columns to transmit picture signals. Pixel electrodes and thin film transistor are formed at respective pixels. The blue pixel has the same area as or an area smaller than the red and green pixels. The pixel electrodes are overlapped with the gate or the data lines via a passivation layer of low dielectric organic material or an insulating material such as SiOC, SiOF.

摘要： The present invention relates to a display apparatus with pixels, wherein each pixel includes a switching device, a micro-electro-mechanical system (MEMS), and a gray scale control device. The switching device can be connected to a gate line and a data line to output a corresponding data signal in response to a gate signal. The MEMS may be connected to an output electrode of the switching device to transmit or block light in response to the corresponding data signal. The gray scale control device may be coupled to the output electrode of the switching device to control a time interval during which the corresponding data signal is applied to the MEMS. Accordingly, each pixel may display a desired gray scale.

The storage capacitor stores a control voltage depending on a threshold voltage of the driving transistor when the driving transistor is diode-connected, transmits the control voltage and the data voltage to the control terminal of the driving transistor, and a period in which the compensation signal is in an on-voltage state is longer than a period in which the scanning signal is in an on-voltage state.
