摘要： A method and network element identify a set of bit indices for forming compressed keys, which are used to map a set of keys of corresponding input values to assigned lookup values in a hash table, where the keys of the input values have colliding hash values according to a hash function of the hash table. The method includes a set of steps including receiving the set of keys. The bits of the set of keys are traversed to find a best split bit index. The set of keys are split into two subsets according to the best split bit index. A check is made whether all of the set of keys have been split into separate subsets. A selected best split bit is added to a bit index. Alternate split bits are tallied and a bit is selected with a highest tally to add to bit index.

The AMF configuration specifies at least two service-units containing components that represent resources, and a set of service-instances representing workload incurred by provision of services using the resources. The method identifies a failover duration and a restart duration for each component in a service-unit; and determines a failover outage and a restart outage for each service-instance impacted by a failure of a given component, based on the failover duration and the restart duration of each component in the service-unit. 摘要： Techniques are described for a time series probabilistic forecasting framework that combines recurrent neural networks (RNNs) with a flexible, nonparametric representation of the output distribution. The representation is based on the nonparametric quantile function (instead of, for example, a parametric density function) and is trained by minimizing a continuous ranked probability score (CRPS) derived from the quantile function. Unlike methods based on parametric probability density functions and maximum likelihood estimation, the techniques described herein can flexibly adapt to different output distributions without manual intervention. Furthermore, the nonparametric nature of the quantile function provides a significant boost in the approach's robustness, making it more readily applicable to a wide variety of time series datasets.
