摘要： Embodiments for characterizing ear canal acoustic impedance and reflectance by pole-zero fitting are disclosed. Embodiments include transmitting an acoustic signal into an ear canal by a transducer having an acoustic source pressure. Further embodiments, measure complex cavity pressure, P(f), response based on the transmitted acoustic signal reflected by eardrum using an acoustic measurement device. Additional, such embodiments, calculate complex acoustic reflectance (CAR) based on the P(f). Other embodiments determine number of poles and zeroes of CAR pole-zero model to reduce residual error between the CAR pole-zero model and CAR data stored in memory within a threshold. Also, embodiments verify the residual error of CAR pole-zero model compared to the CAR data is within the threshold. Further, embodiments factor the CAR pole-zero model into an all pass component and a minimum phase component. Additional embodiments determine ear drum impedance by removing the all phase component of the CAR pole-zero model.

摘要： An Internet Protocol (IP) multimedia subsystem (IMS) network node receives a first collaborative session control signaling from a first wireless transmit/receive unit (WTRU) for an existing IMS collaborative session between at least the first WTRU and a second WTRU. The first WTRU is the initial controller of the session. The IMS network node detects that the first collaborative session control signaling from the first WTRU is degraded, and responsively initiates transfer of control of the session to the second WTRU at least in part by: transmitting an IMS-network-node-initiated collaborative session control transfer request to the second WTRU, receiving an acceptance from the second WTRU, and receiving a second collaborative session control signaling for the session from the second WTRU. The session is maintained, at least in part, through the IMS network node both before and after the second WTRU becomes the new controller.

摘要： Advanced detectors for vector signaling codes are disclosed which utilize multi-input comparators, generalized on-level slicing, reference generation based on maximum swing, and reference generation based on recent values. Vector signaling codes communicate information as groups of symbols which, when transmitted over multiple communications channels, may be received as mixed sets of symbols from different transmission groups due to propagation time variations between channels. Systems and methods are disclosed which compensate receivers and transmitters for these effects and/or utilize codes having increased immunity to such variations, and circuits are described that efficiently implement their component functions.

Such transformations may be implemented in hardware in an efficient manner. Hybrid transformers that apply such transformations to selected subsets of signals to be transmitted may be used to adapt to various signal set sizes and/or transmission environment properties including noise and physical space requirements of given transmission environments.

摘要： An adapter for enabling full-duplex wireless communications is described, along with methods for operating the adapter. The adapter operates as an intermediary between a transmit antenna and receive antenna on the one hand, and a transceiver on the other hand. The adapter communicates with the transceiver using different frequencies for outbound and inbound radio-frequency signals. However, with respect to the transmit antenna and receive antenna, the adapter transmits outbound and receives inbound radio frequency signals using the same frequency. The adapter includes cancellation circuitry to reduce the self-interference cause by transmitting and receiving on the same frequency.

摘要： In a detection circuit, inputs correspond to received indications of vector signaling code words received by a first integrated circuit from a second integrated circuit. With four inputs, the circuit compares a first pair to obtain a first difference result and compares a second pair, disjoint from the first pair, to obtain a second difference result. The first and second difference results are then summed to form an output function. A system might use a plurality of such detection circuits to arrive at an input word. The circuit can include amplification, equalization, and input selection with efficient code word detection. The vector signaling code can be a Hadamard matrix code encoding for three input bits. The circuit might also have frequency-dependent gain, a selection function that directs one of the summation function result or the first difference result to the output function, variable gain, and/or a slicer.

摘要： An application server receives a request for service from a wireless transmit/receive unit (WTRU) associated with a home network that includes a home subscriber server (HSS) and a bootstrapping server function (BSF) coupled via a Zh reference point. The application server authenticates the WTRU at least in part by (i) redirecting the WTRU to an identity provider co-located with a network application function (IDP/NAF) and coupled to the BSF via a Zn reference point and (ii) receiving an assertion from the WTRU that the IDP/NAF has authenticated the WTRU based on user security settings retrieved from the BSF by the IDP/NAF over the Zn reference point. After authenticating the WTRU, the application server (i) retrieves user-specific Sh-reference-point-type data from the HSS via the IDP/NAF over the Zn and Zh reference points and (ii) provides the service to the WTRU based on the retrieved user-specific Sh-reference-point-type data.
