    • Systems and methods for software automation are provided. Software testcases are distributed across multiple data processing systems (equivalently, “machines” or “hosts”) that may collectively include multiple platforms (equivalently, “operating systems”). A testcase may be executed as one or more processes progressing through a sequence of phases, with execution within a phase being asynchronous among processes. Synchronization of the testcase processes across the data processing systems and platforms may be effected by managing an event; the testcase processes block on the event upon completion of the current testcase phase. A testcase phase execution service on each host handles synchronization events. The definition of the testcase may include metadata that identifies the particular phases in sequence, that is phase names, for the testcase; the phase names identifies the phases to the synchronization process that triggers the synchronization events which initiate each succeeding phase of the testcase.

    • A lightweight embedded directory server with portable LDAP data is disclosed. The directory server and database comprises a processing chip, an on-chip processing unit, an on-chip memory system, and an on chip input/output system. The memory system stores an embedded operating system and an embedded directory server, and is also used for storing data to be processed by the processing unit. The input/output system is provided for connecting the processor chip to one or more applications for supplying directory services to the one or more applications. A portable memory device stores a directory database, and, in use, this memory device is releasably connected to the on chip input/output system. An on-chip driver is used to perform read and write operations on the portable memory device; and a boot loader software program is used for starting execution of the embedded directory service.

    • An embodiment of this invention provides a new LDAP server control to automate load balancing for replication based directory infrastructure. This solution is applicable to both master-master and master-replica based replication topologies. If one or more of the replication servers or the master servers are available for processing, the request is assigned to them based on output of a weighted non-uniform random number generator. This LDAP server control allows gaining very high performance while doing multiple parallel heavy LDAP operations. This LDAP control prevents the exposure of the replication directory server details to the outer world and therefore proves helpful in easing the security concerns.

Whereafter firing, the sliding sleeve is instantaneously driven back contacting its front face with the revolving cylinder, thereby eliminating any gap between the revolving cylinder and the barrel, preventing exploding gas from escaping therethrough, and substantially increasing bullet discharge velocity and energy.
