摘要： The invention relates to a homogeneous catalyst for the production of linear alpha-olefins by oligomerisation of ethylene, consisting of a zirconium salt of organic acids and a cocatalyst which consists of alkylaluminiums and/or aluminium chloride. The activity of the catalyst, system may sometimes be raised substantially by adjusting the molar ratio of chlorine to aluminium in the cocatalyst within the range between 1.0 and 1.5. The economic viability of the production process and product purity are improved.

摘要： The present invention is for a process for making a catalyst for production of unsaturated aldehydes, such as methacrolein, by gas phase catalytic oxidation of olefins, such as isobutylene, said catalyst containing oxides of molybdenum, bismuth, iron, cesium, tungsten, cobalt, nickel, antimony, magnesium and zinc. The process is a synthesis of the catalyst with aging or digestion of the reaction slurry with little or no agitation. A catalyst precursor is formed from the water insoluble and water soluble components and is dried. The metal oxide catalyst is formed by calcination of the catalyst precursor.

摘要： This invention is for a catalyst for conversion of hydrocarbons. The catalyst contains a zeolite with one element from Group 13, Group 14, or the first series transition metals and, optionally, germanium and/or aluminum in the zeolite framework. At least one Group 10 metal, such as platinum, is deposited on the zeolite. Examples of the elements in the framework are tin, boron, iron or titanium. The catalyst is prepared by synthesizing a zeolite with one element from Group 13, Group 14, or the first series transition metals and, optionally, germanium and/or aluminum in the zeolite framework; depositing the metal; and calcining after preparation of the zeolite and before or after depositing the metal. The catalyst may be used in a process for the conversion of hydrocarbons, such as propane to aromatics, by contacting the catalyst with alkanes having 2 to 12 carbon atoms per molecule and recovering the product.

摘要： This invention is for a catalyst for conversion of hydrocarbons. The catalyst is a germanium zeolite, such as Ge-ZSM-5, on which at least two metals, platinum and at least one other metal selected from Group 7, Group 8, Group 9, Group 10 and tin, are deposited on the germanium zeolite. Examples of the other metal are iridium, rhenium, palladium, ruthenium, rhodium, iron, cobalt and tin. The catalyst is prepared by synthesizing a germanium zeolite; depositing platinum and at least one other metal on the germanium zeolite; and calcining after preparation of the zeolite, before depositing the metals or after depositing the metals. The catalyst may be used in a process for the conversion of hydrocarbons, such as propane to aromatics, by contacting the catalyst with a hydrocarbon stream containing alkanes, olefins and mixtures thereof having 2 to 12 carbon atoms per molecule and recovering the product.

摘要： Disclosed is a catalyst composition which does not contain antimony or molybdenum for the vapor phase ammoxidation of alkanes of the general empirical formula: VWaBibMcOx wherein M is one or more elements selected from sodium, cesium, magnesium, calcium, barium, boron, yttrium, indium, aluminum, gallium, tin, titanium, silicon, zirconium, germanium, niobium and tantalum, a is 0.2 to 10, b is 0.5 to 5, c is 0 to 10 and x is determined by the valence requirements of the elements present. The catalyst precursor is precipitated from a solution or slurry of compounds of vanadium, tungsten, bismuth and, optionally, M, then separated, dried and calcined to give a phase or combination of phases active in the ammoxidation of low-weight paraffins to the corresponding unsaturated mononitriles. Nitriles may be produced in a gas phase catalytic reaction of alkanes with ammonia and oxygen in the presence of the catalyst.

摘要： Disclosed is a bound phosphorus-modified zeolite catalyst. Zeolite is treated with a phosphorus compound to form the phosphorus-treated zeolite. Binder material is treated with a mineral acid prior to being bound with the phosphorus-modified zeolite. The binder material includes inorganic oxide materials, such as alumina, clay, aluminum phosphate and silica-alumina, in particular, a binder of alumina or clay or their combinations. The mineral acid includes hydrochloric acid, nitric acid, phosphoric acid or sulfuric acid. The phosphorus-treated zeolite is combined with the acid-treated inorganic oxide binder material to form a zeolite-binder mixture. Water is added to form an extrudable paste which maybe shaped and is heated to a temperature of about 400° C. or higher to form a bound phosphorus-modified zeolite catalyst. For aromatic alkylation, the bound phosphorus-modified zeolite catalyst is contacted with an aromatic alkylation feed of an aromatic compound and an alkylating agent under reaction conditions suitable for aromatic alkylation.
