The method includes: a terminal acquiring dialing auxiliary data information, wherein, the dialing auxiliary data information comprises home location information and/or roaming location information; after receiving a dialed number of a subscriber, the terminal judging whether the dialed number conforms to a dialing rule according to the dialing auxiliary data information; and in a case that the terminal judges that the dialed number does not conform to the dialing rule, correcting the dialed number, and calling out the corrected dialed number. With the method and device, a problem of a higher network call loss rate in the related art is solved, a dialing success rate of the subscriber is increased, and the user experience is improved.

A phone controller implements and responds to instructions from the user interface. Where the instructions from the user interface request the connection of a call, the phone controller connects the handset to a PSTN via one of a plurality of connection means provided. Similarly, in the event of an incoming call connection request received via any one of the connection means, the phone controller enables the connection of the call. The user may choose to accept or reject the connection using the interface. The handling of an incoming or outgoing call is determined by a connection routing engine. The connection routing engine comprises an identification unit, a rules unit, a comparison unit and an enabling unit.

摘要： A VOIP service and method is provided which comprises an redirecting dialer device (RDD), which connects a telephone to a POTS circuit. Responsive to DTMF signals from the telephone representative of a long telephone distance number, the RDD intercept the DTMF signals and transits alternative DTMF signals representative of an alternative telephone number of a PSTN/VOIP gateway server. Once connected to the PSTN/VOIP gateway server, the RDD then transmits the DTMF signals associated with the original long distance number. The VOIP gateway server is operative to convert the analog signals from the telephone into digital and packetized VOIP data which is transmitted through a public or private IP-based network to a remote telecommunication device associated with the original long distance telephone number. If the DTMF signals from the telephone are representative of a local telephone number, the RDD is operative to forgo transmitting the alternative DTMF signals.
