    • The present invention discloses an inlet structure of water-storing keg float, comprises an inlet, an outlet pipe and a water-storing keg float with a storage tank, and the inlet is provided with a channel passing through the outlet pipe, and the channel is provided with a water-storing cavity and a guide hole, and the guide hole is communicated with the water-storing cavity and the outside wall of the outlet pipe. Because water-storing cavity is present, part of water from the inlet can be stored in the water-storing cavity because of gravity, and this part of water fully enters the storage tank of the keg float through the guide hole, and the keg float can be balanced effectively under different water pressure conditions, and the stability of the keg float is enhanced.

    • An apparatus for automatically watering a plant in a container by regulating a flow of water to the container through flexible tubing. Upper and lower jaw members are interconnected by a horizontal pivot axis so that they develop a scissors action. A jaw area is formed on one side of the pivot axis for receiving the flexible plastic tubing, and a compression spring is mounted on the opposite side to provide resistance to closing of the jaw area. For use with pots and other non-hanging containers, the container is rested atop the upper jaw member on the side towards the jaw area so that the weight of the container acts directly to compress and close the jaw area. Baskets and other hanging containers are suspended from the other ends of the jaw members so that the tension caused by the weight of the container causes the jaw area to pivot closed. Drying of the container reduces its weight so that the spring forces the jaw area open and allows water to flow through the tubing; as water flows into the container, the increased weight causes the jaw area to close and pinch off flow through the tubing. The device is adjustable by increasing/decreasing compression of the spring so as to increase/decrease resistance to closing of the jaw area.

    • A water valve and an animal waterer incorporating that valve. A water inlet pipe terminates in an upwardly extending outlet, and a closure mechanism is resiliently supported above the outlet and in turn supports a water retainer. When water is in the retainer to the desired level, the closure mechanism is held against the water outlet, cutting off the flow of water. When the water is below the desired level, the resiliently supported closure mechanism lifts, permitting water to flow from the inlet pipe to the retainer until the desired level is again reached.
