摘要： The present invention provides a method for producing a composition for culturing animal cells, wherein the method includes: (1) a step in which an algae is mixed with a solid acid catalyst and an algae extract is obtained by heating; and (2) a step in which the algae extract is added to a medium for culturing animal cells and the concentration of the algae extract is adjusted. The present invention also provides a recycling/culturing method for algae and animal cells including: (i) a step in which a waste liquid (a first waste liquid) previously used to culture animal cells is used to culture algae; (ii) a step in which the algae is collected, mixed with a solid catalyst, and heated, and an algae extract is thereby obtained; (iii) a step in which the algae extract is added to the waste liquid (a second waste liquid) previously used to culture algae in (i), the concentration of the algae extract is adjusted, and a composition for culturing animal cells is produced; and (iv) a step in which animal cells are cultured using the composition for culturing animal cells.

The upper ends (6) of each of the rising pipes (3a) and the falling pipes (3b) are connected to the distributing pipe (5) in a liquid-permeable manner. The invention is characterized in that both the culture medium (4) as well as a gas chamber (9) above the culture medium (4) for receiving gas bubbles (10) rising out of the culture medium (4) are provided in the distributing pipe (5) in the operating state, wherein a boundary surface (11) is arranged between the culture medium (4) and the gas chamber (9) in the distributing pipe (5). By arranging the boundary surface (9) (or the boundary surface region), which is typically susceptible to dirt, in the distributing pipe (5), the aim of the invention to simplify the cleaning process of the photobioreactor or the process of keeping same clean is achieved. In this manner, the yield and service life of the photobioreactor is increased. The invention additionally relates to a method for cultivating phototrophic microorganisms.

In one aspect, for example, a process for generating a combustible gas from a wet biomass in a closed system is provided. 摘要： The invention features a low cost nature-based carbon sequestering vaccine presenting capacity to restore global Carbon Dioxide to pre-industrial levels over a short, perhaps singly decade use across multiple deployments. This low tech, low cost, high impact, 100% nature based solution is carbon negative during its production and throughout deployment using multiple embodiments that capture and sequestrate carbon dioxide from at least a kiloton approaching a gigaton or beyond scale. The invention uses already developed technologies and biological methods in producing a “vaccine” for inoculating selected unpopulated or sparsely populated geozones with low potentials for disrupting human activities. Embodiments feature deployment of the vaccine into extreme cold environments with minor or non-existent negative externalities. Extremophilic algal cohorts are selectively adapted by growth in serial culture for spreading at sites where the algae growth and turn carbon dioxide from ambient air into biomass that sequesters the carbon for centuries.

摘要： The present disclosure provides a bioreactor that utilizes cultivated algae grown within a sealed chamber to convert carbon dioxide in fluid that is passed through the sealed chamber into oxygen via photosynthesis. The apparatus comprises an LED array for providing artificial light to the algae, which causes them to utilize CO2 in the surrounding fluid for photosynthesis, producing oxygen as a result. Transparent inserts are disposed within the sealed chamber for increasing the amount of surface area on which the algae can form and increasing efficiency.
