    • A vehicle clutch is comprised of a supply cylinder activated by a clutch pedal and a receiving cylinder for hydraulic fluid displaced from the supply cylinder when the clutch pedal is pressed down. A fluid line connects the two cylinders. A safety device is connected within the fluid line and comprises at least one throttle element for reducing the fluid flow from the receiving to the supply cylinder when a preset engaging speed for engaging the clutch is surpassed. The safety device includes a measuring orifice connected in parallel to the throttle element. A solenoid is provided which has a closing device for closing the fluid line between the two cylinders with the exception of the throttle element when a preset fluid pressure differential measured before and behind the measuring orifice is surpassed. Two pressure switches are coordinated with the measuring orifice for measuring the fluid pressure differential at the measuring orifice. The pressure switches actuate the solenoid for moving the closing device to close the fluid line. In a second embodiment the safety device has a switching piston held in an open position by a plate spring for closing the fluid line with the exception of the throttle element. The plate spring is adjusted such that its working range is within a descending portion of its force-travel distance characteristic curve. A solenoid and the pressure switches are eliminated in the second embodiment.

    • A volume flow control for a hydraulic system of a vehicle has a pump for supplying a main consuming device and an auxiliary consuming device with a hydraulic medium. A valve having a main connection for connecting the pump to the main consuming device an auxiliary connection for connecting the pump to the auxiliary consuming device and is provided. The valve has a main piston with a throttle and an auxiliary piston positioned downstream of the throttle. The throttle is positioned within the auxiliary connection. The auxiliary connection is pressurized by the main piston. The auxiliary piston has a first end face, subjected to the operational pressure of the hydraulic medium, and a second end face, biased by at least one pressure spring and subjected to a reduced pressure of the hydraulic medium caused by the throttle. With this arrangement, the auxiliary piston is positioned such that, independent of the operational pressure, a substantially constant amount of hydraulic medium is supplied to the auxiliary consuming device when switched on.

    • A proportional magnet valve is provided with which manufacturing tolerances can be equalized and balanced by having an armature with an adjustment member axially adjustable. Consequently it is made possible to adjust every magnet valve that is mass produced so that a predetermined coil current corresponds to a predetermined magnet force and with that corresponding to a predetermined working pressure of a magnet valve. Because of adjustment capability of the armature, no close or narrow manufacturing tolerances must be maintained to permit cost advantageous production of the magnet valve. Also, an exchange of a magnet valve upon wear or damaging thereof is possible in a simple and straight forward manner because the novel magnet valve can be adjusted exactly without difficulty. Consequently, a predetermined pressure-current-characterizing line is maintained so that, independently of tolerance position of the magnetic force and the tolerances of hydraulically effective diameter of the structural parts, always the same pressure-current-characterizing line can be attained.
