    • According to one embodiment, a rotating electrical machine has a vibrating-element. The vibrating-element has spring bars and circular members which cover spring bars while a part is connected to spring bars. The spring bars are connected to first stator core connection portions, which are formed so as to be spaced out in a circumferential direction from each other at two locations on a side surface of the stator core. The stator frame is connected by the second stator core connection portions, which are formed by two locations which are different from the first stator core connection portions, of the stator core. The second stator core connection portions contain a position adjacent to a node portion of a circular mode of vibration of the stator core, in which antinodes and nodes of vibration alternately appear in the circumferential direction as the vibrating-element is attached to the stator core.

    • Disclosed is a non-aqueous electrolyte secondary battery including: a cylindrical wound electrode group including a belt-like negative electrode, a belt-like positive electrode, and a belt-like separator interposed therebetween, the electrodes and separator being laminated and wound together; and a non-aqueous electrolyte. The cross section perpendicular to the winding axis of the electrode group has a radius of 3 mm or more. The negative electrode includes a current collector, an active material layer including a silicon-based active material and adhering to the surface of the current collector, and a strip-like lead connected to the current collector via an alloy layer comprising a copper-silicon alloy. The lead is connected at the round of winding radially 3 mm or more away from the winding axis of the electrode group, and includes a copper foil or copper alloy foil having a tensile strength per unit length of the short side width thereof of 3 N/mm to 50 N/mm.

    • A rotor of a rotating electric machine includes a cylindrical rotor core, a plurality of coil slots provided on an outer periphery of the rotor core along a rotor axis direction, rotor coils disposed in the coil slots by laminating a plurality of field conductors through an insulation material, a rotor wedge disposed at an opening end portion of the coil slot so as to support the rotor coil, a coil ventilation duct formed in the coil slot so as to pass through the rotor coils, the rotor wedge and the insulation material, and sub-slots provided at bottom portions of the coil slots so as to be communicated with rotor core ends and the coil ventilation ducts. In such a rotor of a rotating electric machine, the coil slot, the sub-slots and the coil ventilation duct constitute a cooling gas channel for distributing a cooling gas to thereby cool the rotor coils. A depth in a diameter direction of each sub-slot from the rotor coil end to a nearest coil ventilation duct is larger than a depth of the sub-slot at a portion near a center of the rotor core.

    • A handle bar fixing device for a bicycle, which is used to fix a handle bar to a cylindrical holding portion attached to the utmost end of a lug provided at a handle stem. At the lug is provided a through bore which extends lengthwise of the lug, opens at one end into the holding portion and at the other end onto the stem body, and has a screw thread in part. A control member with two first and second screw threads different in pitch angle and in the direction of screw, is screwed with the through bore by way of the first screw thread. A pusher having a screw member screwable with the second screw thread is supported axially movably only to a first end portion of the through bore opening into the holding portion. The control member is rotated to force the pusher to move lengthwise of the lug so that the handle bar inserted through the holding portion may be fixed thereto.
