    • The fixing device includes: a fixing member including a conductive layer capable of self-heating by electromagnetic induction; a drive unit rotationally driving the fixing member; a magnetic field generating member generating an alternate-current magnetic field intersecting with the conductive layer; a fixation pressing member movable so as to come into pressure contact with an outer circumferential surface of the fixing member and to separate from the outer circumferential surface; and a temperature measurement unit that includes a temperature detector and a support portion, that measures temperature of the fixing member with the temperature detector which is pressed by the support portion to be brought into contact with an inner circumferential surface of the fixing member, and that holds a contact state between the temperature detector and the inner circumferential surface in every state where the fixing member is displaced in accordance with movement of the fixation pressing member.

    • A heating device includes a magnetic-field generating unit that generates an alternating-current magnetic field, an endless belt, and a heat transfer unit that includes a heat storage layer, a thermosensitive layer, and a diffusion layer. The thermosensitive layer extends so as to separate the magnetic-field generating unit and the heat storage layer from each other, and forms a magnetic path that allows a magnetic flux of the alternating-current magnetic field to pass therethrough in a direction in which the thermosensitive layer extends at a temperature below a Curie temperature and a magnetic path that allows the magnetic flux to extend therethrough and reach the heat storage layer at a temperature higher than or equal to the Curie temperature. The diffusion layer has a higher thermal conductivity than thermal conductivities of the thermosensitive layer and the heat storage layer, and diffusing heat of the belt.

    • A fixing device includes an endless fixing belt which is tensionless in a circumferential direction in a center part in a lateral direction and supported to circularly move, a heating device that heats the fixing belt, a pressure roll contacted with an outer peripheral face and supported to rotate around an axis, a pressure member contacted with an inner peripheral face to exert pressure on the pressure roll, and a support member passed through inside the fixing belt and supporting the pressure member. Preferably, an unfixed toner image on a recording medium passing the nip part which is formed between the fixing belt and the pressure roll is pressurized and heated to be formed into a fixed image, and the fixing belt is kept in a round shape in the circumferential direction near both side edges and supported to rotate around a center axis determined by the support member.
