    • A field of the spread spectrum transmission of information is performed by chaotic signals. A technical effect consisting in providing direct chaotic communication systems in which the information is input to the chaotic signal generated directly in the information transmission frequency band, is achieved by means of that the step of forming the broadband information carrier necessary for the transmission is carried out using a chaotic dynamic system which structure is synthesized in advance in accordance with predetermined characteristics of said broadband information carrier so as to cause said chaotic dynamic system to provide the operation of forming the broadband information carrier in the form of a chaotic information carrier having prescribed spectral characteristics, the step of modulating the chaotic information carrier is carried out by forming chaotic radio or optic chaotic pulses from said chaotic information carrier, with predetermined time intervals between said pulses in accordance with the transmitted information signal, and the step of reception and demodulation at the receiving side is carried out using a dynamic system matched, in its behavior, with the chaotic dynamic system of the transmitting side.

    • An analog correlator for very high speed data communication, including a single transmission line receiving an input signal and used as a signal delay circuit, a plurality of analog multipliers connected in parallel with a predetermined gap from the transmission line, for receiving a predetermined size of voltages, respectively, and an adder for adding the signals from the plurality of analog multipliers and transmitting the resultant signal as an output signal. The analog correlator can perform very high speed data communication, and can be applied to a high precision position estimation system. Moreover, the time delay is controlled in each part of the transmission line by adjusting a size of a variable capacitor. As a result, the length of the transmission line can be adjusted. Furthermore, the correlator is adaptively used according to variations of the very high speed communication environment by adjusting voltages of application voltage devices.

    • Provided is an apparatus and a method of measuring a distance between devices using a low clock frequency signal. The apparatus includes clock frequency generators, counters, a controller and a calculator for determining the distance based on clock signal overlap. Radio waves are transmitted and a number of clocks of a clock signal having a clock frequency b are counted, and if the transmitted radio waves are received again, a number of clocks of a clock signal having a clock frequency a are counted. If the clock signals having the clock frequencies a and b overlap with each other, counting of the numbers of the clocks of the clock signals having the frequencies b and a stops, and the distance is measured using the count values of the clock signals having the clock frequencies a and b. As a result, number of clocks of clock signals having low clock frequencies with a uniform difference can be counted to precisely measure a distance.

    • A method and apparatus for simplifying a structure needed to delay data in delay units when a reference signal and data are transmitted by using chaotic signals are provided. The method includes delaying data by at least two delay times, wherein each of the delay times occurs sequentially; multiplexing the data, which has been delayed, according to a control signal; and transmitting the data and a reference signal which corresponds to the data at an interval of delay time. The apparatus includes a first delay unit which is configured to delay data for a first delay time; a second delay unit which is configured to delay the data output from the first delay unit for a second delay time; and a multiplexer which is configured to multiplex the data from the first and second delay units according to a control signal.
